Crystalline sliver would be an amazing reprint for modern, but i'd definitively be happy with Hybernation sliver reprint. hunter sliver would be very good, and wouldn't mind heart sliver for cheaper haste effect.
Also a Thoughtsieze or thought-knot effect would be nice, as would a graveyard hate sliver. Course i would also love to see a Harbinger of the tides sliver or a better costed Constricting sliver effect.
Probably a not ever gonna happen, but if for some reason they unbanned Mental Misstep, i'd be pretty happy with that. But with Jace in the format now, that could be very bad, so extremely Doubtful
i am a little leery now of Miracles being a possible thing in modern, but we will see i guess. turn 3 Bridge, Turn 4 Jace.. does not seem fun
perhaps, the deck i'm worried about is Miracles. In legacy, that was one of the few decks i had trouble with due to Terminus. With Jace and opt, it might just be possible, but guess we will have to wait and see what happens Jund could maybe be a problem due to hand disruption. I've never had any trouble beating grixis though.
So Jace the Mind Sculptor and Bloodbraid Elf are now unbanned... a little concerned that CoCo slivers might be too slow, but can't really tell till we see how much its gonna affect the meta and what decks stay, what new decks come in, and what decks change due to this.
Hmm the new Enchantment/lan is rather interesting, without testing.. not sure how viable it could be for Modern, but seems good for standard (take that with a grain of salt since i don't play standard)
i think for standard its fine, can also see it being decent in commander. But for modern.. i can't but feel it falls short. The first ability works well for simics aggro plan, but its tap merfolk for card draw or pump team seems a bit counter productive too Simics get in and attack style.
I am looking at the new Simic Merfolk and it plays a lot like how Fast Slivers would. The issue for slivers is that we don't have the 12 cantrip spells that Simic Merfolk has to stay relevant past the first few turns, nor the countermagic or possibility for grindier stuff.
I am not sure about this. Maybe Smuggler's Copter instead of Vial and 2 more creatures like Frenetic Sliver or Darkheart Sliver.
i see one issue with part of the Sideboard, With the Lifecrafter's Bestiary, you have only one green source (maybe 2 if yer lucky with the Gemstone Caverns), to activate it.
Score! aether vial reprint in Iconic Masters, in fact i'm pretty impressed so far with the spoilers for Iconic masters, though i had thought they weren't going to spoil anything til the set released.
i actually run Familiar's Ruse, and love it. getting added valuue outta Etb merfolk is great.

I've tried Chart and lead, didn't care for either, but did try out Ancestral Vision, which goes off about the perfect time it goes off after 4 turns.
