Hello, fellow players!
I was just wondering, how does it work to cast Altered Ego, and have it enter the battlefield as a copy of Woodland Wanderer? Does it gain the Converge mechanic still see the colors spent to cast Altered Ego, allowing it to enter with additional counters?
Krosan Verge is one that I'd recommend. It's a tad slow, but it's great for getting your duals.
I'll look through my lands later and see what else I find.
It mentions she has twenty-two days to live. This story article was posted on November 30.
Anyone else find that more than a little cute, that Yahenni will possibly 'die' during the winter solstice, aka three days before Christmas?
I think she's going to drain a walker and take their spark on the day she's supposed to die. She may even disappear, having apparently died, for three days, until she returns from her first planeswalk.
And that's when we get our Christmas spoiler of Yahenni's planeswalker card.
Calling it, it's just too perfect.
I really like this theory. It'd also balance things out if she ended up mono-black as well. Good story ideas - you should be the one writing for them, haha!
Vigilance
Whenever a noncreature, nontoken permanent is put into a graveyard from play, its controller creates an X/X elemental token, where X is that card's converted mana cost.
When ~~ enters the battlefield, scry 2, then fateseal 2. (Look at the top two cards of an opponent's library, then put any number of them on the bottom of that player's library and the rest on top in any order).

Devoid.
When you cast ~~, you may put a card an opponent owns from exile into that player's graveyard. If you do, return target creature card from your graveyard to your hand.

A quick, likely noobish question, but one I do wonder about: If a Loaming Shaman comes into play under my control, and while his ETB trigger is on the stack I sacrifice him (via any sacrifice outlet), can I then target the Shaman with his own trigger, shuffling him into my deck?
Thanks in advance to the many of you smarter than I!
I can see what you mean. Whether it's the +1/+1 emblem (which, while sometimes underpowered, CAN be pretty nasty in the right deck and/or meta) or the experience counters, the number of generally unanswerable effects is slowly increasing.
I honestly have less of a qualm with the Gideon emblem (just because the instant emblem is unique to him, with a close second being that of Nissa, Vital Force). However it really feels like the experience counters from commander 2015 pushed a few things over the edge.
I have no problem with losing to a precon commander deck (I've gotten used to it, in fact), but the fact is, each commander set pushes the power level of most decks higher and higher. Nowadays, I feel like you either have to find the new commander staples (Command Becon and other unique ones) or you fall far behind. But I digress, back to the point.
Effects which are removal-proof are strong (see:Meren of Clan Nel Toth), and they need to use them sparingly.
Hello all! Here I am with another question about stacking triggered abilities.
When I sacrifice a creature to a card such as Perilous Forays, and that creature is equipped with Deathrender, am I able to stack the abilities so that I put a creature onto the battlefield with Deathrender BEFORE I search for a land with Perilous Forays?
I was thinking that, because Deathrender triggers because of the creature's death, the ability from Forays goes on the stack first, followed by Deathrender, with Deathrender thereby resolving first. I wonder if I am wrong in this regard, and am able to stack them myself.
