Now THIS is the type of card that extort fits perfectly , extort gives a much needed utility to this permanents you want to see early but do nothing in multiples.
It's hard to believe that people think this is worse than fervor.
This card WILL find a deck in standard , maybe not now , because red aggro decks are already stacked with great haste creatures , but it indeed could work in a RW aggro deck , which in my opinion will be a contender.
Samuel L Jackson could be whoever he wishes to, after Star Wars and the whole " we created a new Nick Fury that , oh , looks just like you Mr. Jackson!" , I could perfectly imagine him as Jace or Nicol Bolas.
Ummm if where playing that game then.....
T1, Plains, Sol Ring
T2, Mountain, Ajani + to keep land tapped.
T3, you should quit now cause you not getting Bolas out.Or really anything else for that matter. And ill just blow your lands up by the time you get close enough.
Only need 3 cards plus Ajani, so early game creatures are guaranteed.
Protections are awesome , so literally any of the "Swords" are awesome, but, this one has no effects that affects the field directly , and it's effects are situational to the point that, sometimes , both effects will be irrelevant.
My least favourite among them , but still a very powerful card.

Fabio-esque HAS to be the perfect description for this dude.

I've done this in Cube , so-freaking-awesome
In all formats, but , of course, limited and your crappy Raksha EDH =(
And martial coup screams in agony
My least favourite among them , but still a very powerful card.
Specially Frosty , Frosty is awesome , can't compare it to this 4/6 with no CIP =/
The comparison between this and Sphinx of Magosi is perfect , and Sphinx of Magosi is better than this one , as is much more of a finisher.
And again , this is bonkers in EDH , will be a staple in blue , and I'll need one =]
Using less high cost artifacts, meaning less clunkyness in the deck =D
And the image is also very good , riding a Steel Hellkite , LIKE A BOSS!
Still , very , very , veeery mythic.
