1. You have renegade freighter. can you tap gilder bairn and then use gb's untap ability (you have a legal target) to untap gb and then tap gb to fulfill Renegade freighter crew 2 necessity?
I love pauper edh. While playing, I noticed some of my favorite cycles were not complete. I'm asking for insight on how the cycle could have been finished.
Invasion Block had a common spell with a different color 'kicker' (Dismantling blow and Jilt). Every guild would be used except WB and UG (8/10). What do you guys think would be a cool believable instant or sorcery with a kicker of a different color (WB and UG, or make a cooler version of the other 8). (It has to be a common, so make it believable).
I have a sinew sliver, it's about to die. I use antler skulkin persist ability. Does the sinew sliver come back and stay alive because it's a 1/1? or does it die immediately?
last last, with blind zealot and death fang...my opponent has a 1/1 and a 7/7, I deal combat damage with blind zealot, then sac it, can I target after my opponent sacs or do I have to target before the sac?
Thank you to all, you could play mtg for 20 years and still need help on rulings.
1. my opponent has a hill giant and a worldspine wurm. I have a ruthless deathfang and cast launch party sacrificing my squire, if I target worldspine wurm with launch party, does deathfang trigger first and allow my opponent to sac worldspine then countering launch party?
2. all the same scenario but instead of worldspine wurm the creature is it that betrays, then what? would my opponent get my squire and sac it?
3. lastly, My opponent has a 5/5 and 2 2/2 creatures. I use aven augur targeting both his 2 2/2, with deathfang, will my opponent be able to sac one of the 2/2s before they are returned?
4. last last, I have death fang and 5 1/1 creatures. My opponent has 5 3/3 creatures and 5 untaped lands. I cast fade away will they have the option to wait to see what creature I sac to fade away before committing to pay or sac?
nacatl war-pride 'must be blocked by exactly one creature if able' confuses me. I attack a opponent with 7 1/1 creatures,I have nacati war pride and 7 tokens attacking, with my opponents 7 1/1 they can't block all 7 nacati tokens and original nacati, therefore making the must be blocked irrelevant.
my point is, no matter the number of creatures my opponent has, I will always have at least +1 attacking creature, thus making nacati must be blocked irrelevant, or am i misunderstanding how nacati works?
if I tap squire with stitched mangler and then momentary blink stitched mangler and again tap squire, does the not untap effect last two untap steps or one?
2. Do you have to fulfill a crew ability to use it? using renegade freighter can I tap my stonybrook schoolmaster and only my stonybrook schoolmaster?
