Well well, this is the 2nd site that goes down on me... I moved here after Essential Magic went into a deep slumber around 2015, never to really wake up again (it's still around, but with a completely dead forum).
Sad news, not sure where to go now once MTGS closes down for good.

Well, if MTGS was so horrible, how come you're still here complaining about it? Dumbass.... what a lame comment!Quote from ironocy »Hahaha yes! Good riddance, this forum was terrible. Horrible mods, dumb rules, and convoluted sections and subsections. It's no surprise you didn't have the resources to maintain, this whole site is an unnecessary labrynth. Farewell MtGS, I have lived to see the day this site collapse under its own weight. What a glorious day indeed! -

What's next, sports cars?
Jeez....
Your data shows an incredible progression in just 6 years... I knew it was bad, but not THAT bad! Honestly, in my case I find it overwhelming and I no longer get excited as I used to with the coming of new cards. There is so much to take in, I can't find the time to try and fit new cards in existing decks. I do however try to jot down those that are a great fit for an eventual purchase or trade.
There is a line of text in the higher portion of the art, saying:
Golf sucks now and has always sucked.
Not sure if this is real, seems fake as I don't see WotC putting something like that on a card (even a Secret Lair)...
Not the strongest, but useful in the right deck.
Hey Mark, just about 2 years ago you answered a question about interacting with emblems, and you responded saying you were softening on it and believed that it may one day happen. Can I get a maybe : ) for the thing to be removed that has never been removed before to be emblems?
Maybe. : )
It's a pretty vague answer, but my bet is that emblems are now fair game to be removed. If so, I would find this surprising, since enabling emblems is so difficult, at least from my experience.
LMAO... very well said! Despite what Maro has said many times, about the fact that each product is not meant for everyone, I can't help but think that it sounds a bit shallow, but rather a company quote he has to say in order to appease the crowds on that subject.
WotC has become Hasbro's big money printing machine. I just hope, having played for over 20 years, that this corporate model doesn't ruin the game in the long term. In my case, I watch what comes out and only pick a few cards here and there... I no longer feel excited for upcoming releases as I have in the past, before the avalanche of products we are now faced with on a regular basis.
Going straight into my Urza, Lord High Artificer deck.
However, I have been waiting a long time for this commander specific release. I hope it lives up to my expectations, as this has really tickled my curiosity since it was announced. The rare land cycle already spoiled has me salivating... Can't wait to see the rest!
it does in my Mogis, God of Slaughter deck, for sure. If opponent can' sacrifice a creature, it's now 6 damage instead of 2. Sign me up!!!
