I have a list of every card name and its card text. I have a second list of creature types. How to combine the lists so that I get only effects that benefit creatures of one of more types? For example, when I search for "Angel" on gatherer, 9/10 results either reference the card name or create a token, so I need something a bit less naive. For certain types like Ape the problem is even worse since gatherer can't distinguish Ape the creature type from common words like Apex, and using /s for whitespace like it suggests just straight up doesn't work. Any suggestions?
Initial testing, Lambholt Pacifist is an overachiever. Crews the 4/4 vehicle by itself, wears emblems and +1/+1 counters easily, and blocks well against the aggro decks that normally give planeswalkers headaches.
You really miss the copter looting. There's not enough mana sinks and only the 3 oaths to filter your draws, so you're really sensitive to mana screw and mana flood.
Would like a flexible answer to artifacts mainboard that's also a permanent.
I hate this card from a design standpoint. Wizards knows that their "all creatures all the time" vision leads to overly clogged, unfun board states. That's been the case since Mastery of the Unseen was played. But rather than fix the fundamental flaw and let black, red, and blue have the answer cards that are baked into their color pie, they choose to paper over the problem with an obvious format staple that doubles as a reset button.
Will see a ton of play. Not because the card itself is broken, but the format it exists in is obviously going to be more of the same GW goodstuff.
One of the things I missed about the 4th Recruiter is the ability to hold up Spell Queller without being obligated to cast it.
Scatter to the Winds is warping your mana a lot. You have 12 green sources for 8 2-drops. That's pushing it IMO, but ppl have been running 4 color decks with 9 sources so what do I know.
Tamiyo is great in every matchup. Drawing 0 has been much worse for me than drawing two. The only problem in current standard is that Coco is somehow even better so you can't play her.
In testing you're right that delirium with Emrakul was a problem, so I'm going to run the best gy hate I can in sb, and hope Kaladesh brings something playable.
3 toughness is very prevalent right now. Between Advocate, Reflector Mage, Spell Queller, and Tracker +1, any Incinerate Variant will likely see a lot of play
Here's a BR devoid deck that can stand up to the Bant deck's diverse suite of tempo-gaining, sorcery-speed removal. Many cards have a late-game mode so 24 lands is okay.
I put together a Kind of boros toolbox list featuring sigarda's aid, slayers late and lone rider and open the armory. The main problem I endountered in testing is the prevalence of removal and there being no way to give your creatures Hexproof. Sigarda's aid kind of makes your deck in instant speed boggle deck where you can use equipment at great value but if they board wipe or hit your creature with a murder or ruinous path. I thought maybe about building a Bant version with void grafter and Tierless tracker to refill? Can anyone else think of possible solutions to this problem?
Selfless Spirit? You still lose 2 turns to Reflector Mage though.
I don't like it in madness decks, because all the madness costs are high except Fiery Temper, so tacking on an extra 2 mana just makes cards like Voldaren Pariah come into play too late. If you somehow discarded the cards at the beginning of your next upkeep it would be a lot better.
If we get one more 1-2 drop enabler after rotation, Jeskai blink looks like it might become a deck. Displace and Eerie Interlude both team up to get double the effect when combined with GDD. Reflector Mage lets you clear their whole board, for example. The problem right now is that the deck is too top heavy, since Thraben Inspector is the only 1-2 drop with a powerful "enters the battlefield" trigger.
I don't think the number of tier 1 decks is a good barometer for the health of a format. There's just not enough interaction right now. Whoever curves out better wins.
I lost 0-2 to a humans list. My Transgress the Mind whiffed completely, and then I ran out of removal and my Languish got countered by Eerie Interlude. Thoughts?

Also use deck tags please.
