Mostly trying to get a good creature lineup going. I think Butcher is the closet we have to a good top end. IDK, just spitballing, really. I kinda wanted Sorin, Lord of Innistrad and Ajani Vengeant here, but I'm not sure if they were really needed.
I know our game against Jund is supposed to be good, but what do you do when they've got a grip of discard spells? Those seem to be our biggest weakness from that particular deck.
I'd trade out the looting slot for this, since I'm not on Demigod. Terminate hits too much to be dropped entirely - I would say 2-2, with 1 of each in the SB for the appropriate matches. I should add I'm playing 4x Thunderbreak Regent and 4x Stormbreath Dragon as my creatures, so Looting on its own is worse for me. But in the Jund neck of the woods, we don't find Push to be superior to Terminate. I do wonder if Push doesn't make our deck a better choice than Jund, though.

Yes, I think we've earned a place in Developing Competitive - our deck's placed higher than Skred Red, for example. We have better CA. Better resilience and access to their main piece - Blood Moon. We may not have put up as many results as SKRed, but what we have put up is over higher quality than Jund.
Your guess is as good as mine. Either Bolas or Tezzeret needs to put it down; in the case of Tezzeret, I'd have the Consulate do it so as to raise public opinion of the Consulate.
I hope its some real politik on Bolas's end to eradicate Pia's revolt. Her side's burned out whatever sympathy they've garnered from me. I can't see where the Consulate has done anything wrong.
I added a Fault Line for historical purposes...I remember seeing it with Sneak Attack in an old issue of Topdeck Magazine. I was gonna add Nicol Bolas, but he techically goes off into UB. Ditto for Broodmate Dragon. Goes into BG.
I saw an article about Trump wanting to throw out the ACA, or at least give it a major overhaul. What's the worst that could happen? There's a lot of gloom and doom about people being "left to die," (mostly I'm seeing it on a bunch of Twitters from some of my favorite SFF authors) but it sounds like post-election shock.
I never thought my candidate would pull it off, honestly (granted, I don't understand the tears we saw from the Hillary Camp - I didn't plan on crying or going into fetal position if Trump lost; but to each his own). I do like his desire to be a president for all Americans. Here's to the next 4 years.
Also: I've mentioned the climate issues earlier so dig up the links yourself
I don't personally know of any that prioritized the issue of pro life vs pro choice, nor do I know any transsexuals, but I would assume they used their vote to vote in their best interest.

If you're playing a more Skredlike build that splashes Black for Terminate, then yes. If you're heavier in black, then no.
