    Reasonable quotes.

I still like them to be larger and have better artwork (the generic pictogram like art on them is kinda cryptic).

    ----

If possible get larger prints on shirts, extended art that goes to to the arms (like "burn" having actual flames and stuff, something that looks bigger, flashier, storm get some "storm" in the shirt).

They all have this strange same layout which looks too generic.

Text could probably be bigger and have some borders to stand out more (people have to see the quote quickly and as its best, an artwork would visualize the quote in a funny way, to push its impact).

    ----

The quotes are overall fine, the budget joke is funny, with some more standout art i would say these could be a real success (but if they look like generic shirts, they are too boring).

Well to be fair they have to work around copyright and trademark issues.

I dont play Standard or Modern so I cant really help ya out with your deck besides you need to get rid or the one of`s. Running one of a certain card in your deck limits the chance you will pull it during your match. Do a search here on the forums or the innerwebz and check out the tournament winning decks in each format to get an idea of what people are playing.

*Sigh* If I had a nickel every time someone attacked Snopes with unsubstantiated claims, I'd be a billionaire.

First, the DailyCaller is an unreliable site with questionable ethics in of itself. Quite honestly, even before I went digging for its reliability on the internet, its ad tactics raised red flags. Then there's the fact that Daily Caller has hit Snopes regularly for not liking when Snopes fact checks them. Do you have any other sources to evaluate Snopes off of?

Second, Snopes has been accused of being biased in every direction. In fact, they chronicled it themselves. Feel free to keep digging, but I'm not buying into this particular source you presented.

But I'm more concerned with what effect they think a nannying little message like "Before you share this story, you might want to know that independent fact-checkers disputed its accuracy" is going to have. That tone is only going to piss off people predisposed to believe the story.

So your point is that if you've got enough money to not starve, you also have enough extra money floating around to spend on an ID?

You really don't grasp how poverty works, do you?

Oh no i have somewhat of a grasp. Been low income at one point of my life. Guess what? I had an ID. I think you really dont grasp my point. If you are to poor to buy food you will attempt to get assistance from the government and that will require an ID. Unless you are some recluse that lives of the land in the middle of nowhere you are going to need some sort of ID 1 to 100 times in your life.

Sure in some cases that is true but to act like just because you are low to no income there is no way you can obtain an ID.

You need an ID to apply for welfare, you do not need an ID to receive it. Many poor people have expired or otherwise no longer valid IDs.

I know this might come as a shock, but poor people can't afford to own a car, or see a regular doctor (they go to the ER if they have something serious, where they will be treated regardless of their ID situation). That's how being poor works. If these are your examples, I have to think you haven't really thought this through all the way.

That isn't even accounting for the fact that poor people can't take the time off of work to go the the DMV and there have been instances of states actually cutting back on DMV hours after passing laws to require photo ID.

Not sure of the point here, they aren't doing any good really. People aren't typically smoking for health benefits, they're smoking typically because they're addicted. Nor are exhaust fumes any good for the environment or people either. Sounds like you're trying to be snarky but doing a poor job. They're prevalent and accepted more because of tradition. It's pretty easy to look at how well they'd be accepted if this was something totally new, marijuana is having a hard time gaining ground and it actually does do positive things for people.

Stop right there. You shoe horned my comment into a economic or human condition generalization. I raised 2 children in your stereotypical 'white' middle to upper class neighborhood and saw plenty of parents that sucked and their children reflected that. I also have single parent and low income friends that are awesome parents that raise their kids the 'correct' way. Money, environment, and education are factors in how a child will grow into an adult but regardless of those factors they have a better chance if they have a parent(s) that are involved in their life.

posted a message on Painter's Servant vs Devoid
Found this in another thread. Response from willdice.

Devoid is a characteristic-defining ability, meaning it is always applied first, before any other color-defining effect.

613.1. The values of an object's characteristics are determined by starting with the actual object. For a card, that means the values of the characteristics printed on that card. For a token or a copy of a spell or card, that means the values of the characteristics defined by the effect that created it. Then all applicable continuous effects are applied in a series of layers in the following order:

    613.1e. Layer 5: Color-changing effects are applied.

613.2. Within layers 1-6, apply effects from characteristic-defining abilities first (see rule 604.3), then all other effects in timestamp order (see rule 613.6). Note that dependency may alter the order in which effects are applied within a layer. (See rule 613.7.)

702.113a. Devoid is a characteristic-defining ability. "Devoid" means "This object is colorless." This ability functions everywhere, even outside the game. See rule 604.3.

So Painter's Servant will succeed on giving a color to a Devoid card like Barrage Tyrant. It won't be colorless anymore.

No. When a card uses its name in the rules text its basically saying 'this card.'

So in short the card reads...
When Aegis Angel enters the battlefield, another target permanent gains indestructible for as long as you control This Card.

201.4. Text that refers to the object it’s on by name means just that particular object and not any other objects with that name, regardless of any name changes caused by game effects.

201.4a If an ability’s effect grants another ability to an object, and that second ability refers to that first ability’s source by name, the name refers only to the specific object that is that first ability’s source, not to any other object with the same name. This is also true if the second ability is copied onto a new object.
