Even in an ideal scenario where you actually get to cast 10 mana's worth of spells off this thing, it still feels like a dud. A 10-mana spell shouldn't have to be random.
I just think it's really dumb that good Warrior tribal effects have ended up in colors that, outside of Tarkir block, have very few Warriors. They should've put those effects in R/G where there have always been tons of Warriors.
This card is an absolute house in multiplayer. And it's a valid target for Sunforger! (Incidentally so is Utter End, another card I can scarcely believe is an instant.)
Seems like bulleting could make certain Commands unreprintable. Incendiary, Profane, and Primal already strained their respective text boxes, and now they would add line breaks?
Didn't they say that they won't have a morph creature that can face another morph then reveal and survive for a cost less than 5?
I really do not understand their thought process on this at all. You're already spending 3 to put the morph on the field. Why is it reasonable to ask you to spend an additional 5 just to have something that can outfight a 2/2?
I bet someone was sitting on this "slow attack" design for a long time, just waiting for the proper context. It makes me chuckle even though it's clearly a terrible card.
MaRo has said multiple times that a "vanilla matters" theme has much less design space than people think. I really doubt it could support a set.
What we do know about Muraganda is that it has intelligent dinosaur-people called saurids, and that's reason enough to go there.
Of course we'll probably never see it again.
