Well I went 4-1 in competitive, barely lost game 3 for the 5-0. PWs and GY hate was tough sometimes and I faced a lot of it, but you can win through it. Urborg would be fine, I do really like the bojuka bog though and you want a lot of untapped blue sources to cycle and play As Foretold ASAP, but I'm sure a Urborg could be squeezed in. I took out the Archfiend and Drift of Phantasms for 2 MB Negates, we'll see how it goes.

I watched a couple people stream versions of the new U End deck all week (Mostly HolyShamgar) and I finally put it together tonight and played a couple leagues. I changed a bunch of things after the first league, I didn't like the mana leaks and I found the stifle birds to be very good out of the board so put them in the main. I felt like mana leak would be better as negate since the best thing about leak is that it can target creatures, but you don't usually want creatures going to your opponents graveyard.

Anyway, it's still a work in progress and sideboarding is REALLY tough, I definitely need to figure out what to cut in what matchups, but here is my current list: Would love any feedback / advice or even better if anyone wants to test something similar! 19 creatures is definitely a lot, could probably cut a few.

I've never played with shackles before, but I tried it the other night and it seemed fairly good. I'm still not sure what matchups it would be best against. The deck tech I watched from the guy who was running the deck said it's still good against decks who can deal with it because usually they will need to K command / Decay your creatures before dealing with the shackles.

The other thing I'm finding difficult is when to board out remands and blood moons, if it's ok to shave a few cantrips, and when to board in P & K. Also is it just me or is ratchet bomb close to just as good as EE in a 2 color deck?

Yeah, here's the deck, I'm running like a roast and negate or something instead of the 2 EE's, not optimal, but will have to do for now.

Sorry for double post, but I did go ahead and try the Kiki version from the open/invi last night and I found it to be way better than I expected. I don't really know how to sideboard yet and I am too poor for EE's but hopefully more people will give the deck a shot and can contribute to the discussion. I had a really interesting first match vs burn where I never cast a kiki or a blood moon. Pestermite, untap, spell snare was great and bolt snap bolt got the job done.

I'm considering giving the Kiki Combo version a try actually... I really do like this deck, but the breach/emrakuls can be a handful of dead cards a lot of times and are quite vulnerable to discard. I never tried Young Pyro in the side, but he seems like he would be good in the same matchups as Anger of the Gods, but I guess you still just bring them both in? I would love to have more of a clear sideboard strategy for this deck. I ended up taking out Remands a lot even though they would often be the card that won game 1 for me, even against Burn/Affinity/Humans etc. I think overall this deck seems better positioned than something like UW right now, but there's inconsistencies and inexperience that gave me some trouble.

edit: @drunknmunkySF The madcap combo was great at times, but I'm not sure if I'd want it to be the game 1 win-con because of how vulnerable it is. I liked it better in game 2-3 because people generally side out spot removal since it can't target emrakul, you can even bank on white decks siding out paths most of the time. On the flipside, depending on your sideboard you can just go wide in games 2/3 I suppose. I really just stuck to the version that's been doing well online, but I would love to experiment more with some different variations. The main problem is my resources are limited at the moment. Also not of this world would be pretty sweet as a 1 or 2 of I'd say if the madcap combo is in your mainboard.

Hearing about Kanister losing brings me great joy. and uh, I played a mirror match last night where my opponent was running at least 2 spells snares and deprives mainboard and they were very effective against me in the long game. I may give deprive a shot, but I could see it being pretty terrible against fast decks, where in our case we both had 15 lands so returning 1 didn't matter 1 bit.

I never liked logic knot in this deck too much, but I think 1 is fine with all the field of ruins, but it's usually a later game counterspell than mana leak. I'm having some better luck now in the past few matches. I just updated my decklist in my signature link, took out wall of omens again since there is just so much combo and flying creatures running around lately.

I took a break from this deck to try out Jeskai and UR Breach, but I ended up coming back to UW a couple nights ago. I did really well the first couple leagues with it, but now I'm doing horrible again. I don't know if the deck needs to evolve or it's just my bad luck. I played a couple 3 game matches against creature decks where I didn't draw a single board wipe. I'm starting to think about going up to 4 in the main and a 5th in the side. I'm sticking pretty close to Bennyhillz last posted lists and having better luck in tough matchups like storm and lantern, but doing worse against the decks I should easily beat. I don't feel like I can give any advice at the moment since I've been off the deck for a couple months, maybe I could use some though.

I played it a lot, but just switched back to UW the other night. The biggest problems for me were burn and losing to things like having all the emrakuls in your hand and being unable to find a breach for many turns and vice versa. It was really good against other control decks, and against things like humans and tron, blood moon can be an auto win if you're able to deal with their early game threats. Sideboarding can be tricky 2 with both combos in the deck, it's hard to decide if you want both combos in the deck, which makes you have to sideboard out a lot.

Flame Slash has been pretty good as just an extra 1 mana spot removal for noble hierarchs or basically anything, but it's definitely a flex slot and could be a roast. I got my full 75 now and I'm about 20 and 5 so far online, surprisingly easy to learn how to sideboard with this deck and it's been killer against most of the tier 1 decks and the random fringe decks as well. I played 1 mirror match so far, but he had a different list and it was really fun, I barely lost in game 3, good times! I'm kind of glad this deck is so under the radar right now.

Yeah so I've been playing UW control and Jeskai for months and months and just switched to UR Breach a couple nights ago... Best decision I've made in awhile. I'm 15-4 so far in matches and most losses were due to inexperience (the first match I played was a loss) so far only a good hatebears draw has been a problem to deal with and everything else has been a fairly inevitable win for me.

Not 100% sure on my sideboard plan for matchups like storm and shadow, I saw some guide saying to take out all the breaches and Emmys vs Shadow and I'm not sure if the madcap combo makes sense against storm. Hopefully someone who's got more experience with this deck can chime in! I'm playing basically this 75 with 1 or 2 differences cause I'm missing a tarn and 4th cryptic which I should be able to pick up after a few more wins.

I played against some UR deck the other day that was running pyros and blood moons main, I didn't see any emrakul / breach and not sure if it had delvers. Was this just a variant of UR delver that mains the blood moons or more of a blue moon style? I can't find anything exactly like it. Interested in trying out some sort of UR but not a huge fan of the emrakul breach tactic.

Thanks for the responses, I didn't get notifications so just reading them now. I was definitely looking at Selfeisek's lists as a starting point.

Really interested in playing this deck and considering trading my Jeskai stuff on MTGO for it. Can anyone give me some good reasons why or why not to? Also some sideboard / general game plan advice. I've played against it a few times with UW and found RIP was my best card to more or less stop reveler from being played in a reasonable time, but it doesn't seem like GY hate is really a huge concern. This deck seems like it's crushing a lot of the top decks though and I want to try something a little different, it's between this and Blue Moon.
