This may seem a bit random, but I know for a fact many people's favorite block was original Ravnica. Now I kind of curious why. What made it your favorite? Was it the cards? The story? or something else entirely?
So apparently colorless colored is driving people insane right now, so here's my riff on the subject done matter some time before BFZ and its...color screw mechanic. My original idea for this was a color based set. These are some of the random ideas of colored colorless, colored cards that can be casted with any color, but have more of an effect if the correct color of mana is used.
Aether Dryad 3
(G)Creature-Dryad (C) t: Add 1 to your mana pool. G,t: Add one mana of any color to your mana pool.
1/2
Void Insanity 3
(B)Sorcery (U)
Target player discards a card. If B was spent to cast this spell, instead look at that player’s hand and choose a card. That player discards that card.
Figment of Imagination 3
(U)Enchantment (U) 3: Figment of Imagination becomes a copy of target non-Aura enchantment until end of turn. 1UU: Figment of Imagination becomes a copy of target non-Aura enchantment and gains this ability.
To keep this tasteful and brief, all I have to say about all of this is Guitarweeps, one of my favorite designers on MTGS, is mocking(at least, that's what I'm getting) Wizards for their strange, out of the box ideas whenhe's"guilty"ofthesame.
Thanks for all the suggestions guys. In the end, I like the idea of a creature based sanguine bond, so I'll go with Cartherages idea, and if things turn out too powerful, I'll go with silvercuts instead.
Sanguine Mortifier 2BB
Creature-Vampire Wizard (uncommon)
Whenever a spell or ability you control would cause you to gain life, you may have target creature get -X/-X until end of turn, where X is the amount of life that would be gained. If you do, counter that spell or ability.

Any thoughts? This will be for a WB archetype in set.
@Rhand: My reason for wanting to vote you is based on the fact that you would rather go with the extra lynch option because we "have a buffer". That buffer comes down to one Night and one Night only, That one Night also happens to be the most likely for the Town to screw up. This is not a Town motivated thought process.
Wait a second, wasn't it generic that suggested that the seat be used this way?
@Tordeck: Now that I think about it, yeah, what I did was just bad. With no info, all I could do was take a guess
Still, I agree with generic that we can use the seat to elect someone we want dead along side any potential linches. Only problem is that we must be sure they are indeed scum, or else towns chances will be shot.
@Aquamisa
Why would you vote plowshares? Why vote at all?
Because peer pressure and RNG. Really, should we be thinking about who to lynch now? We need someone up on that seat and preferably not a mafia/old one.
Any comments on this particular (rather troublesome) card?
Marsh Mystic 2G
Creature-Human Shaman (Uncommon)
Flash (You may cast this spell any time you could cast an instant.)
When Marsh Mystic enters the battlefield, if U was spent to cast it and you have two or less cards in your hand, draw cards until you have three cards in hand.

((One particular archetype in the set this card features in is a GU tempo stategy. This is ment to facilitate tempo stategys a little better by giving them a few extra cards in hand when they would probably be expending them all.))
