I have not been able to find a site that has a breakdown of %'s for drafting purposes... I have 3 cards in my splash... running 5 sources of that color. That reasonable? unflinching courage, summoner, and the rtr g/w pump spell.
You thought attacking with your Scorchwalker into my unleashed Grim Roustabout was safe...but I can regen him, then Turn him into a 1/2 which is very happy to block.
3. Attacking with defender.
You're at low life, but you figured you didn't need to hold back a blocker since I only had a Gatecreeper Vine. Unfortunately for you, with the help of Turn and a pump spell, it's swinging for lethal.
What other unconventional uses of Turn can you think of?
It isnt a pump bud. It does not add to the toughness, all the creature you mentioned would be 0/1's.
I don't see anything that makes Junk control any more viable...
The difference between Junk and Jund is that Jund has red burn and sweepers in bonfire and Mortars. Junk would need a good sweeper to play control. Planar Cleansing is too expensive, Terminus has to be miracled to get the most value from, and Mutilate requires a heavy commitment to black. We need Day of Judgement. Having said that, you can go down the control route by inching out incremental advantage though planeswalkers like Garruk, Sorin, and Liliana of the Veil. Being in Unburial Rites colors and running Lili means you're just gonna be a slower less powerful Junk reanimator though.
Ya, that is how I feel too. I do like the new board wipe for GB, but again it is too slow.
Can anyone fill me in on this format? Anything about the colors in the set? I have never done this format. I know with rtr you had archetypes like azorious flyers, gw populate, rakdos aggro. Anything similar in m13?
Ok so I just started getting back into magic when gtc came out and decided to try mtgo. This is my first month to get 15 qp's and I am curious as to what you guys think about the setup. Do you guys shoot for it every month? Are the prizes and ev good? Thanks for any info!
Hi, you might want to review the competitive forum rules before posting here.
Especially where it says: "Do not post decklist threads in this forum. This isn't the forum for decklist discussion; please use the appropriate subforum for that. Decklist threads will be closed."
This is a forum for people who are competitive about MTG to discuss decks they have playtested and won tournaments with, not for people to give you tips on how to play.
People, test your decks. If you win, come tell people why your deck is a competitive deck and back it up with data. Don't come here to get other people to teach you how to play, that's what other forums are for. Maybe a handy way to think of it is YOU tell other people how to win... not you come here for people to tell you how to win.
Now, my question is that do the rules stating "subforums" actually mean R/x aggro, Naya aggro, etc? Since, many people are posting decklists in this thread.
Ya that is whata I figured. At the moment, the list is at 50 people with 10 minutes to sign up.. I think I would rather do some 8 mans for some flexibility in time for my day.
Ok, sorry if I am clogging up the forum with questions. Last one! Do you guys feel that Premier events are worth the time invested? I mean there is always value anytime you play games, but 9 hours seems like a lot of time to possibly get zero! I feel like I would much rather do DE's or even 8 mans.

What if a first strike creature does combat damage to a player, wouldn't you then pick it back up and be able to blood rush before the normal damage?
