So, I keep getting mtgo crashes....

I have done the uninstall under control panel, then %appdata% to delete anything with wizards, then the rundll32 clear cache thing.

It just keeps happening and I do not know what to do. I also made sure to restart computer multiple times.. Any help?

Thanks a ton for this deck idea!!

I am running the original list, but I do have some cards at hand that I could use.

    I have :

Would these be worth it in the main deck? If so, what could I cut? Thanks

    Hey!

Okay so I have not played seriously in a long time. I am looking to get into a deck that is not overly complicated, competitive, and fairly budget.

    What I have currently:

Now, I do know that I have some of the makings for a mono black infect deck. Would this be a good option to get started with? Or should I just use the 3 Liliana of the veil as trade fodder to make a perfectly good deck? I would rather have a "complete" deck, than one with a bunch of crap and 6 good cards.

My play style is pretty open. I have done a lot of aggro and board control/midrange. Again, I am looking for something that is forgiving to get me started.
Budget: As low as possible. 50.00 maybe on what I have in trades
    FNM worthy

Wow thank you so much man!! I had been following your non budget version. I have exactly 100.00 in credit at an online shop too:) If you don't mind, where would you want to make changes to the deck first when the budget allows? I was thinking the lands?

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, the box does go away after about 10 seconds or so. Then, nothing.

So I reinstalled and I was able to get to the log in screen. After I put in my password, mtgo starts to load cards, and then crashes. Sigh.

    Running windows 8

I checked the servers, and I checked the website and I have not found anything.

This is what I get when I click on the icon to load it:

verifying application requirements. This may take a few minutes.

    Anyone have any ideas?

I like Thragtusk over Deathrite Shaman.

    Thragtusk
    etb 5 live
3/3 survives your own board wipes
    huge threat

If you are not running cremate, I can see why you would like to run shaman. Although, I would rather run a card that cycles and is instant to make it harder for people to play around.

They are both good cards, but in this deck Thragtusk wins for me.

Yeah, I meant, the difference is, this one actually performed well at a major event. Just thought it might be good to consider that list as a launching point for further development (as opposed to arguing over Thragtusk's obvious inclusion).

Ya I don't understand the Thragtusk debate.... This is actually the 2nd time this list was won a descent size tourney. If, you consider an online ptq big. I agree that this is the list that is most effective that has been talked about on this primer. The biggest question is probably whether or not to mb/sb Deadbridge Chant .

Did you guys see the old-school Rock deck that Top 8'd the Nashville Open yesterday?

Its just about the same deck that we have been testing in this forum...:)

Sounds like the rock deck that has gained popularity on modo. Look at some of the top lists. Frank lepore also did a deck tech on it a few weeks ago.

I figured summoner was okay since it was so late in the game, I should have a green source at that point.
