I've been wondering if Skullcrack can defeat a Fog that has already resolved. Is the damage already considered to have been prevented even before the combat damage step?
So if 3 copies of Champion of the Parish are under a Detention Sphere and the Sphere is then destroyed by a War Priest of Thune (or whatever), do all the Champions "see" each other coming back onto the battlefield such that each one would end up with 2 +1/+1 counters on them? I'm pretty sure that they all enter the battlefield at the same time so I would assume that they would all get 2 counters, however one of my friends disagrees with me.
My opponent moves to the Beginning of Combat with a slew of creatures and an Inkmoth Nexus in play. He passes priority to me. I then cast Cryptic Command choosing to tap all of his creatures and draw a card. Obviously if he animates his Inkmoth Nexus in repsonse it will be tapped by Cryptic Command. I was wondering if he can let Cryptic Command resolve and then animate the Inkmoth Nexus (before the Declare Attackers Step). I'm just not sure if the game would move to the Declare Attackers Step before he would have a chance to do that.
Thanks for the tip on Tower of Games which is in Chesapeake according to my brief internet research. I'll head out there tomorrow. However their website does not list any upcoming Legacy events.
Edit: As of January they were holding Legacy Tournaments every Sunday at 3pm.
Edit: As of 5/4/10 they no longer hold Legacy Tournaments.
I'm in Virginia Beach so going to Roanoke would be quite a drive. I've done it once but these days my circumstances are different and I'd have to hitch a ride thanks for the info.
Does anybody know of any upcoming Legacy Tournaments in Virginia? The only one I know of is A Star City Tournament in December. If anybody knows of a store that runs Legacy tournaments please reply.
Interesting idea but I was thinking that with Scars of Mirrodin coming and both Not of this World and All is Dust costing exactly 7 mana that perhaps the Urza Tron would make a come back. it just clicks to me since it was reprinted in 8th edition so as to be in Standard alongside the Mirrodin block the first time around.
Actually it doesn't, it says that they need "more brainstorming, meetings, and planning" to find a way to bring the Power Nine to Magic Online.

It seems to hold it's own against a few decks and I'd like to hear what people think can be done to make it stronger.
