Thinking about adding the following from the Journey Into Nyx. As I don't play a lot atm is there any cards I have missed?

    Banishing Light
    Master of the Feast
    Ajani, Mentor of Heroes
    Mana Confluence
    Gnarled Scarhide
    Prophetic Flamespeaker

What are your thoughts on Phyrexian Metamorph and Cryptoplasm? The metamorphs offers up more playability with the lords doubling up as well as artifacts being cloned. The Cryptoplasm is just a universal dude on a stick resetting each upkeep if you need.

I think both is good additions. Clone effects generally works really well in tribal imo.
They acts as extra lords, and as glue-cards as they work in multiple archetypes. Blue have two major tribes in Merfolk and Wizards, so further more it's nice with some cards that fit into both tribes very easily.

So here is a real contender. Decent stats, good ability, neat draft mechanic that works with all draft styles, I think we have a neat card most everyone would be happy playing.

    Deal Broker
    3
    Artifact Creature - Construct
    Draft Deal Broker face up.
Immediately after the draft, you may reveal a card in your card pool. Each other player may offer you one card in his or her card pool in exchange. You may accept any one offer.
t, Draw a card, then discard a card.
    2/3

I think about adding this guy. I think it's a fairly fun draft altering ability, and a card that can be used in artifact-based decks or reanimator.

    * Wait, the day where Jesus was crucified is called "Good Friday"? Good Friday? Who came up with that? I am not a devout Christian, but this choice of words strikes me as odd.

Well. If the story is true, it was good for everyone BUT Jesus right? All humans were absolved of their sins. A pretty great day if I should say so myself. Wink

I really can't stand console controllers though and from what i read the keyboard/mouse handling isn't the best. So that's been the thing that's been putting me off jumping into Dark Souls so far.

Dark Souls should be played on PS3 imo. The combat oriented rpg style it has, is made for the controller/analog stick, and it's not the same without it. Further more Dark Souls is very community-based. Players leave traces and hints for each other in game, and you can summon other players to help you with boss battles. The PS-community should be the best (haven't tried the other versions so I don't have any personal experience).

If you haven't played any of the other in games in the series, now's the perfect time to pick it up (before there's guides to follow).

I spent my entire weekend playing Dark Souls 2. And I enjoyed my 200 deaths and self-torment very much.

It's very recommended if you like a very hardcore game experience. GrrrAAAAAH

Bondafong: No Terriers? No Freaks and Geeks?

Haven't watched either of them (and haven't really heard of them before now TBH).

I hope they gain the same cast back on True Detective.

True Detective - I agree this is probably the best show ever made (if we only compare first seasons).

My overall list is something like:
    Breaking Bad
    House of Cards
    Sopranos
    The Wire

Not finished yet, but will probably make my list:
    Luther
    The Fall
    Game of Thrones
    True Detective
    Hannibal

    Worth to mention:
    Rome
    Spartacus
    Dexter
    Homeland
    Boss
    Deadwood

    My thoughts on True Detective:

The thing I liked most about the show was the slow pace, the interaction between the main characters and unfolding of the story in several time lines at once. I really like stories with lots of flashbacks, and changing time lines. So this show is perfect for me.

Further more the setting of the swamp lands and the filming of the scenery is truly stunning and a work of art.

I don't think the story itself needs more explanation, as it wouldn't seem as realistic if everything had a reason or was bended in neon. I like that everything aren't explained and there's plenty of open ends and unfinished story lines. (Basically just like any Korean crime movie).

I look so much forward to the second season already and will cry on monday when I realise that there's no new episode...
