Sounds like UBx reanimator to me. Take advantage by reanimating your opponents creatures that you countered/made them discard. Or bust out your own fatties like Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur or Consecrated Sphinx.
I haven't seen a lot of talk about Greven, Predator Captain but he seems like a really decent mid powered general. Hes not competitive tier but hes better than just Jank or Casual. There are lots of fun synergies here like breaking parity with group slug cards such as Manabarbs or Zo-Zu, the Punisher. Then regain all that life lost via giving him lifelink and swinging with his punp from the pain. But the real value ability in his card draw. Power heavy cards like Rakka Mar, Bloodghast and Thunderblust can turn into some very impressive draw value. Also, there are all the fun red steal a creature for a turn effects like Angrath, the Flame Chained, Act of Agression and Captivating Crew that can be turned into removal/draw.
It looks like a really solid general that is quite a bit better than most Rakdos options imo
As a Rakdos player who has never felt happy with any previous Rakdos decks, I'm pretty pleased with Chainer. Its great to finally have a BR general designed for 40 life multiplayer and not burning through 20 life 1v1.
Here is my list for anyone interested. Its $200 budget because we have some newish players and I dont want them to feel like they're losing to money. It's mainly the mana base that suffers lol
Not sure how I feel about the Kiki + Combat Celebrant combo. If you don't have a good enough board position it doesn't work, but I'm already running Kiki anyway and Combat Celebrant isn't the worst stand alone card
How so? It doesn't need a good board position.
You Kiki a copy of Combat Celebrant. You attack with the token and exert it. It untaps Kiki and itself. Sure, they can block, and it'll die. But then you make another... and attack again. And again. And again. Every time, it's another 4 damage on their blockers. They'll run out eventually.
Sure, it has some weaknesses to First Strike, Protection from Red, and Indestructible - but it does work, even if you only have kiki and the celebrant. And once you clear someone's blockers, you can start building up a board of them to hit the people that do have blockers.
Doomed Necromancer is going to be killer in this deck as a way to cheat in big creatures pretty early. Sheoldred, Whispering One is expensive, but late game she'll completely control the game, if you can protect her. One off spells like Reanimate will be good, especially with creatures like Anarchist to reuse it.
A lot of those are really great enablers that I will def using, thanks for mentioning them. Especially Doomed Necromancer, thats gonna be a great way to repeatedly cheat out wincons like Sheoldred.
Why would you want to intruduce new players to commander? Edh is one of the most complex formats and people who are just starting with mtg shouldn't really play it first.
Most of my friends that I got into magic started with commander. But we started on a $60 budget with no MLD or combo. Its actually not too far away from the lvl of these precons and ya, it worked as far as getting them hooked.

Edit: Also Greven and Marisi
