Sometimes we feel like our decks just aren't working for us, almost like not everything is there and we just cannot win with what we have. This deck is a great way to test your skill in the mirror match every game and confuse the opponent by playing cards that have never even seen what standard looks like! Here's what you will need to start making the mirror match

    Spells:
Alright so lets break down some of these cards and why they fit in, first off we will start with our disable package of Pin to the Earth and Mirror Mockery. these cards serve the sole purpose of leaving a creature there, unable to attack so you can steal it from your enemy without having to worry about it that much. Duress is there too pick apart their hand a bit and Dig/Divination provides solid draws. Now lets get to the fun of the deck Supplant Form, Psychic Intrusion, Clever Impersonator, Ashiok, and Clone Legion. These cards let you play the opponents deck, Psychic Intrusion lets you steal their win condition or flat out best card from their hand or grave then lets you play it, whenever you could anyway. Supplant Form is really fun for countering an attack by making a blocker and sending whatever you copied back to their hand. Clone Legion... there is no card in standard now that is more fun to play. search it up late in the game using Liliana or Dig for it and drop it down for pure shock value my goal at every FNM is to play this card at least once and see what happens. Clever Impersonator does not need very much explaining as he just does whatever your opponent is doing, and Ashiok will at the very least draw attacks off you and at most take away the game by stealing just the right creature. Your sideboard turns your deck into either anti-control, or betters your match-up against aggro.

This deck is surprisingly competitive during FNM and a load of fun to play, remember that there are some very important things to remember while playing this deck. First off, you are essentially playing a control deck that doesn't want to be called control so think in a control mindset while playing. Also remember to always remember to kick off games complaining how you keep running into the mirror match, But most of all remember to have fun with the deck, if your goal was to win a Pro Tour you would not be playing this so the true measure is of success is how much fun you had. I like to set goals for myself to achieve in games, like copy a cat creature and put my copycat token i drew onto the battlefield.
