I wasn't sure which aspects to focus on or talk about. That's why I talked about ALL OF THEM!
I'd like to share it with you guys and see what you guys think. If some parts got too much emphasis while others didn't. I realize I broke traditional review format to discuss personal favorites, but our website isn't aiming to be professional in nature, so we still like to express our opinions that way.
Dragon's Maze Review
If I play "Research" from Research//Development am I able to grab cards from outside of the game that I already have a playset (X4) of in my deck? In other words, could I use Research to potentially have 8 of a single card in my deck?
PS. I was unable to figure out how to card tag a split card so I'll embed a picture of the card here.
Embolden can have at most 4 targets. You cannot target five or more creatures, because each creature or player must receive at least one of whatever is being divided.
Ahhh, there's the fine print. Thanks that sums it up. I'll stick with embolden regardless and cauldron haze. 4 Targets is still better than one.
No, any creature targeted must have a non 0 number assigned to it.
107.1c If a rule or ability instructs a player to choose “any number,” that player may choose any
positive number or zero, unless something (such as damage or counters) is being divided or
distributed among “any number” of players and/or objects. In that case, a nonzero number of
players and/or objects must be chosen if possible.
Doesn't this rule just say that I can't choose zero targets if there is something I CAN target? I don't see anything saying I can't choose a number higher than the damage. Plus, damage assignment shouldn't have anything to do with it because Embolden can be played before damage is even being announced, because it's the "next" damage.
I'm trying to use Wild Defiance to my advantage.
So if I use Embolden am I able to target ALL of my creatures whilst still only preventing 4 damage and the rest prevent 0 damage?
Personally there are two things your 20 turn magic fests mean. Either one of the decks are actually really good at control and surviving, or you have it where both decks are too counter-offensive and not offensive in itself.
I know that Wizards has an official one that came out on Iphone about a month or so ago, but I'm not sure when the android version comes out. They confirmed they are working on it though.
Or they could make a transforming, flipping, dual planeswalker werewolf!. Where the card has a transformation, and both sides of the card are flip cards, and each flip has a dual-card print, and each print has 3 planeswalker abilities! O.O
But realistically I do want to see an inverse morbid come to white and blue. I selfishly want spirits to leak into red and black just because I have a red and black spirit deck from kamigawa that could use some new cards.
If I have a Myojin of Life's Web on the battlefield that has already used it's divinity counter. Then I play another Myojin of Life's Web, will I be able to use the second Myojin's divinity counter before the legend rule kills them both?
I'm about to sadly part with my collection, and I'm selling all my uncommons in one big lot. But I know there are certain uncommons that sell unusually high like Sensei's Divining Top. Most of my cards are from Onslaught or newer. I know this is a VERY broad question, but what uncommons from Onslaught on sell for unusually high on ebay etc. (anything over 5 dollars) Thanks for any help, it's greatly appreciated.
