Black would be good but I would rather splash red because you have that extra reach. Also at that point just go BW Warriors or humans or something.

I usually use cockatrice to test when I have no one to test with in person. Or just take the deck to your tournaments and post some tournament reports, that would be cool. I haven't been able to go to standard tournaments lately since I hav had to work which sucks because I could be going infinite :'(

That's what I'm trying to figure out, the mana. The thing about Titan's Strength is that it's only 1 mana and its just amazing, gets in for 5 turn 2 with hoplite or 4 with warden, plus a mana up for protection or another 1 drop PLUS it scry's. The 1 mana symbol is the most important in there. Also if I did try and succeed in making the mana work then I would use both titanic strength and Lightning strike. If we had mutagenic growth, berserk, or Giant growth, then it would be a different story, but we don't Frown

My biggest issue with the deck, even though it works amazingly well, is that we have no way to interact with ramp creatures, and thats the only thing that can really bring them back in the game; if they can go fast enough.

But yeah the mana is the only issue for naya.

Bant heroic makes it work by having reliable and good draw engines plus scry. Mardu Afro makes it work because they also have burn to interact with the board. That reach is just as good S having more creatures. Gw doesn't have either of those luxuries.

I'm trying to see if I can change the deck up a little so I can turn it into Naya so we can run Titan's strength and have better sideboard options, as it stands right now all we have is plummet against storm breath Frown

Titans strength is just so damn good dude it literally single handededly changes how the deck works.

    Hey Everyone!
Cool thread. I have an affinity for white and been playing mostly mono white since I started playing MTG at the beginning of Fate Reforged.
Here is the deck that I will be running this upcoming FNM:

The deck looks solid dude, but I think you are in need of some creatures because you are a little light. I wouldn't go into a game without at least 18 creatures. No matter how many protection spells you have, they aren't enough to keep creatures on the board. Eventually you will run out of gas or you will just have the wrong lands or you will be tapped out, there are just too many scenarios.

As of right now I am running the following to HUGE success and I dare anyone to play this deck vs all the meta decks right now and watch how hard you win:

What I tried to do is minimize bad top decks and keep the deck as efficient and streamline as possible. Cutting creatures makes the deck more reliant on the few creatures it has instead of making them deal with multiple threats until they can't anymore and we make one stick.

Spells like solidarity of heroes and hardened scales have a fit in other decks but in decks like mine they just aren't anything but dead weight. Also terrible top decks with no creatures on the board. No matter how many protection spells you have, you will have 0 creatures on the board at some point and neither of those cards will do you any good.

Barich has been playing something similar with Collected Company. The spells have finally gotten to the point where I think both heroic and prowess are getting efficient utility.

1st things 1st (im the realest):

    I'd cut Dragon Fodder.

Instead play a Temur Battle Rage or a Become Immense. Maybe some combination of the two?

I'd also cut Satyr Hoplite. I played him in RW Heroic and he was hot garbage every time. I'd max out on Seeker of the Way. He's bananas.

Defiant Strike is the best card in the deck (trust me). Play 4x of it.

I honestly don't think that collected company is where this deck wants to be, efficiency is key with every spell we use and they need to be easy on the mana cuz we don't want to tap out pretty much ever. Plus by turn 4 when you wanna drop a collected company, you should already be winning if not close to it. But either way, can you post a link to the list so I can get a better idea?

I've tested with Become Immense extensively, and it is awesome. Right now I am testing without it doing the dragon fodder just because I am at odds with what I can cut to make room without more testing.

I need the dragon fodders so I can get those turn 2 plays that are amazing, synergies with my goblin rabblemaster and also because I need my white mana for other stuff, if not I would run the white one. Aside from the fact that more bodies = more targets for defiant strike, titan's strength and atarka's command.

Satyr Hoplite is basically just there because I need the turn 1 plays to advance the game state the way I want it to go. I hate how its no where near as good as Favored Hoplite, but its either him or I play the Goblin that gets +1 per creature you play.

I wanted to try with Temur Battle Rage but I figured that if I was going to run a 1 of game changer, it would be best to just use become immense.

I do love Defiant Strike A LOT, but Titanic Strength is just so damn good that I can't cut it, and cant figure out what else to cut to up the count :'(

What's up guys, figured it was time to let people see the deck that I have been stomping every single standard event with in my area. Maybe you can chime in once you try it out and see how it works for yourself.

The deck basically works as an early aggro deck at the start, which can compete and be faster than a regular aggro deck. It has the ability to go large or wide and later on, once they side in all their; anger of the gods, crux of fate, drown in sorrow, etc, "oh so sorry I forgot to tell you that I sided in some big mothasssss"

    Now without further a due:

Naya Aggro - the BAWSS of all BAWSSES

    Creatures - 18

    4x Favored Hoplite
    4x Monastery Swiftspear
    2x Satyr Hoplite
    2x Seeker of the Way
    4x Goblin Rabblemaster
    2x Monastery Mentor

    Spells - 20

    2x Defiant Strike
    4x Gods Willing
    3x Titan's Strength
    3x Atarka's Command
    3x Dragon Fodder
    3x Dromoka's Command
    2x Lightning Strike

    Land - 22

    4x Battlefield Forge
    4x Windswept Heath
    4x Wooded Foothills
    4x Mountain
    3x Plain
    1x Forest
    2x Mana Confluence

    Sideboard - 15

    1x Mountain
    3x Chained to the Rocks
    3x Ride Down
    2x Outpost Siege
    4x Thunderbreak Regent
    2x Stormbreath Dragon

Now the side deck is ever evolving thanks to the meta but for the most part I side in Chained vs creature heavy decks like Abzan variations, Mardu Variations, Bant heroic (even with dromokas), RDW etc.

The Ride Down gets sided in against decks that will be blocking my small 1/1 tokens thinking its smart, and if they don't, they will be taking free damage every turn. Great against abzan and R/G devotion, which means I'm already winning 90% of the meta.

The Dragons and the mountains get thrown in when I know they will be side decking into a lot of early creature removal so I will play the deck a little slower and make those cards dead in their hands. Sneak damage in early and then go for bit hits late.

Outpost siege is mainly in there vs the control match-up for more card advantage but can be easily replaced.

I appreciate any feedback but more than anything, I am posting this deck because I want more people to test it out and play it, win and help me stop all the net decking out there, which just bottlenecks progress and innovation. It's hard for progress to happen when you are the 1% and you have to play against the 99% out there who are stuck in everyone else's ways, and unfortunately you could win 98 times and that 99th time luck, mana flood, mana screw, mistakes, and any other factor, prevents you from being in the spotlight and the same cycle repeats; go online, look at the most recent event, click on first place, click buy deck, rinse, repeat. NO MORE!

    INNOVATION AND PROGRESS!!!!

I feel like Mystic is the best choice in that situation. If you were playing warriors then that would be a different story but as of now the things mystic can do are just a lot better than the things Bloodsoaked can.

Aside from the fact that mystic for sure eats a removal spell which saves your later creatures, and champion just gets chump blocked all day or can't get over most of the dominant blockers in abzan,g/r, etc.

Yeah, I have been playing G/W aggro with heroic splash since before KtK and it is honestly one of the best decks out there.

I wanted to ask though, why do you have so many 2 of's? Don't you think it would be better instead of having random 2 of's you could just play 4 of your value cards?

Guys, once again I really urge you to try this deck out. I guarantee you it will beat everything out there 70%+ of the time.

I have no idea why no one is playing it. I've been trying to get people to get on the band wagon with my deck but unfortunately no one is willing to test it out Frown

Try it out guys, play a few games with it, get the feel for it and see the raw power of this deck. When played right its pretty much takes game 1 every time, and game 2 and 3 are still just as easy.

Then come to this thread and lets toss around some ideas on how to make the deck better, even though I think it's already in its best form.

I've been testing with a abzan version of this which I think is more aggro than most and the top of the curve is siege rhino just because of how good it is.

How has testing been with just G/B?

I can post my list for reference if needed but I would love the much needed advice for the build.

How is this coming along in testing guys?

Is anyone still playing this? I was hoping to play either this or U/W Counter.
