I played a lil bit of Standard, where as a new player, always got my ass handed to me. I'm in NYC, so everyone is busy and they don't have time to make a deck, so they just buy whatever control deck is winning and play it. I was new and all, so I didn't know how to counter their stuff. Played some limited, but quickly figured out sometimes it's just your lucky day, or you've wasted 12-15 bucks. So I'm looking to invest in a modern deck. I'm a HS student so budget would be awesome! I'm not looking for anything T1, but something that I can play on Wednesdays at my (far) LGS. Anyways, nice to meet ya!Posted in: Introduce Yourself
