i use a single dryad arbor and is has been the difference between winning and losing in several games (a minority, of course, but still more than one game).
i run a craterhoof version though, so that's relevant to your decision.
I'm still getting used to experimenting with different mechanics, especially with the addition of the newer cards. I started building a new mono green deck based around mana ramping and getting big guys in play fast (Craterhoof Behemoth, Terra Stomper, Genesis Hydra etc.) ; so far, those are my favorite decks to run. I love to ramp in fun ways, as well as unleash creatures with double stars to scale for maximum damage.
New to the forums, but I've been playing for a bit over a year now. I really enjoy modern, and my girlfriend and I love building decks with fun themes.
Great site and resource here; I look forward to learning more through the community!
You know, I've never played it - but I was mulling over the idea last evening. It would give me a chance to play more often, that's for sure!
Craterhoof Behemoth rules; it's probably my favorite green card (especially for mono) right now. Great deck list here; nice little spin on it!
I run green and blue mono decks, focusing on all sorts of things from token-driven decks (Hornet Queen and Hornet Nest), to morph/sphinx-like decks (Clone, Mercurial Pretender, Master of Predicaments, Stormtide Leviathan).
