Anticipate is at least a sign that wizards is looking at cheap card draw again. I know that this has been talked about, but wouldn't a slightly fixed version of fact or fiction be the help that control decks need in modern? Instead of just costing 3U, maybe fix the cost to 1UUU or make the cards go to the bottom of your library instead of your graveyard. Something that I would also like to see is more counterspells that are great in specific situations such as: force spike, memory lapse, absorb, forbid, dismiss, etc.
I'm pretty confused as to why this card isn't an automatic 1 of in every UW control list(minus tron)because Gideon Jura has the power to: be a finisher, an expensive(but needed)fog, can be reset with Restoration angel, stonewalls as long as he's out, etc. I understand that Modern is a turn 4 meta but even if you tap out for gideon, he can stop twin from winning by just existing. Thoughts?
Hey I have been browsing these forums for awhile so I figured that I would finally make a post! Anyways since khans the fae have went from a tier 2 deck to a tier 3 deck because of metagame changes. Since ppl have primarily focused on control oriented builds, I was wondering if anyone has ever tried a midrange build with favorable winds. I'm surprised that no one uses favorable winds because: its an anthem, only abrupt decay hits it in the main board, and it gives bitterblossom tokens a faster clock. Combined with scion of oona, 3/3 tokens sound pretty good. What do you guys think? The link below is my deck list.
