Beginning on December 7th, Outer Limits in Murfreesboro will be hosting a series of charity tournaments benefiting Toys for Tots. These events will encompass our most popular games.
Entry into each of these events will be a new in box toy to be donated.
Saturday December 7th:
10am: Pokemon constructed.
Bring your Modified legal pokemon TCG deck and test your trainer skills.
Play will begin at 11am.
Prizes will be awarded to each age group based on attendance. Additional door prizes will be awarded randomly.
5pm: Magic: the Gathering
Test your best Standard deck for a chance to win some awesome prizes.
1st place will get their choice of a Revised dual land of their choice or a box of current in stock magic product.
2nd place will take home 18 packs of a current in stock magic product.
3rd and 4th will each receive a Theros Holiday box.
These prizes are guaranteed at 16 players. Additional prizes will be awarded for each entrant over 16.
Registration will open for this event at 5pm with play starting at 6pm. This event will be Standard format with a number of swiss rounds based on attendance and a cut to Top 8.

11am: Heroclix
400 pts Iron Man Sealed Draft.
First place will receive an unopened brick of Iron Man.
Other prizes awarded based on attendance. Plus additional prizes to be given away as door prizes!

The mirror wasn't the worst. Game one was awkward because he had t2 blood moon and t3 night of soul's betrayal so he played a lot of dead spells and I drew actual spells. you just hope you go ultimate with jace before they play one. game 2 you just have to land the first jace and negate protect it
Well, I guess on the opposite end of the spectrum from Islanders I played this deck to a PTQ finals yesterday. Overall record was 5-0-2 in the swiss. I'll try to put up a better report later but my matchups in order were:

In the finals his Glen Elendra Archmages were the cards that beat me. I think there were 4 copies played on the day with another player being in contention until the last couple rounds.
This is the list I've been running to moderate success. Sejiri Merfolk has been really good in the list, unfortunately it came at the cost of cutting some of the more popular 3-drops. Sygg is good in the list because he feeds your hand while allowing to deck to be aggro unlike AV. He's also a solid blocker against zoo.
At Outer Limits Boro we want to continue our long history of creating events with the most fun and greatest atmosphere.
