    We're usually around 8. Very rarely 6.

What would the number be if you went up to 540? I'm currently fixing some of my numbers and would appreciate an opinion :).

This is a decent card and I think at higher than 540 I could see myself including this. At the moment I don't see this being better than:
    Voice of Resurgence
    Kitchen Finks
    Mirari's Wake
    Dryad Militant
    Qasali Pridemage

This is probably better than Knight of the Reliquary, Armada Wurm and some of the other GW options. I could see playing it over Mirari's Wake if you don't support the ramp archetype, but most of the time I see it sitting on the sidelines.

Vengevine isn't high on my list in Green, and that has the added value of being good against control because you can save up some mana dorks to make it good. Playing this after wraths and such don't seem that good either. I'm afraid this'll be a mediocre 5/4 a lot of the time.

Yeah, we were very happy with our perfomance after our terrible 1-3 start. I think most of us were a bit rusty, but we made a few too many mistakes. Got to play a lot of cube though, so it wasn't all bad!

Came home from the WMC, we made day 2 but struck out to end up in the top 32. The limited nation of Norway went 2-4 in Khans team sealed, and our decks were pretty weak for the most part. We had some okay decks, but nothing special, which does not bode well in Team Sealed. Unfortuantely our decks weren't really well suited for the team unified standard either. We had one deck which was definitely weaker than the others (which we also got featured with). Our feature match was terrible and we had some decisions which I did not agree with. I definitely think we could've had a game in the feature match if we made some different plays, a judge kept pestering us with "having to make a play" which was definitely stressful (attacking with the 2/1 instead of holding Stubborn Denial comes to mind). I didn't play much Magic but went 3-1 in constructed and sat on the bench for all the limited matches. I felt i had a decent understanding of the limited format, and the cards in it, which allowed me to help out were it was needed.

In Khans we did two crucial mistakes, one against Denmark on day one and one against England on day two. Against Denmark we'd seen a suspension field and we unmorphed our Rider even though we had Waterwhirl in our hand when our opponent had the 4/5 flying hexproof. This turned out to be disasterous as our opponent had the field and quickly punished us. Against England we had a terrible deck and our opponent had the stone cold nuts (double abzan guide, double pinewalker, duneblast, good removal etc.) but we're able to grind him down and he's down to one card in hand at 16 life and has Sultai Flayer in play. We have 4 lands, 9 life and our hand is Efreet Weaponmaster, Arrowstorm, 2/1 flying prowess, feat of resistance and we draw a land. We end up playing the 2/1 and trying to feat it when he attacks. He has Throttle (which we had seen in game 1 or 2) and when we deploy two threats the turn after he has debilitating injury and a Shambling Attendant.

I feel like we might have been greedy in the last match and it really cost us, especially since we'd seen a Throttle in game 1 or 2, even though i feel there are a number of cards that validates the play.

Still, I had a great time and we were super happy to day two with a starting 1-3 record. We were definitely a bit underprepared, but I had 4 exams in two weeks and couldn't get down to Nice until the night before the tournament, which wasn't ideal. Hopefully I'll get on the team next year and be able to redeem us.

So, mana rock + vindicate later?

We really wish this cost 2 mana, but it seems like a great open pick for a control deck. Unfortunately ramping up fra 3 to 5 isn't really what a lot of decks need. I'm leading towards excluding this at 360, but at 450 and up i think it could see some play. Unfortunately it doesn't fix mana either, so it's not great for splashing colors. What do you guys think?

Like the format so far. I've been ending up in UGx most of my drafts so far, but i did recently 3-0 with 2x Quite contemplation UW aggro. Just skipped playing the Arc lightning, burn low and winterflame i had (only had 1 CIPT land). Sorin has been my bane a few drafts though.

Still not quite sure what i should be looking for, but i feel like my UGx decks that has someway to refill the hand (Treasure Cruise or "Inspiration") usually does well. Apparently value is good in the grindy format, who'd have known.

The level at the local shop has dropped somewhat, but i did manage to 3-0 my first Khans draft. Have to start practicing for the WMC (since i was fortunate enough to win the local one). Drafted Temur with no removal except for two man-o-wars and 2 of the +6/+6 card. Seemed really strong with all my trample guys. The format seem slow and grindy, which is just the way i like it. I'm making a box of limited decks, where i'll save all my decks before the WMC. Which ones go 3-0, 2-1, which colors do well etc. Maybe i'll have some insights.

I rather like my other 3/2 options. I could see cutting Keldon Marauder for this card since that card goes away. I rather dislike creatures that only get in for a one shot effect. I might be undervaluing the Keldon Marauder though. I'm aware it's a very strong aggro card, but this might be better since it gets around the chump blocker. I don't know. Something to think about at least.

Changing the phyrexian cards back into their respective colors, and moving Noble Hierarch and Wild Nacatl into a tricolor section (as wtwlf has done earlier). This accomplishes two things: The absolutely stacked green portion is easier to cut and add from/to, and i have 2 open artifact slots. These slots make it easier for me to add some Eldrazi's and ramp into my cube.

The cuts / reorganization ends up looking like this:

Cards cut to make space for the phyrexian cards.
    Kor Sanctifiers - Porcelain Legionnaire
    Repeal - Spellskite
    Psionic Blast - Phyrexian Metamorph
    Blood Scrivener - Dismember

What the cards end up as in the colorless section
    Dismember - Basalt Monolith
    Phyrexian Metamorph - Gilded Lotus
    Porecelain Legionnaire - Wild Nacatl
    Spellskite - Noble Hierarch

The green slots refilled by these cards.
    Noble Hierarch - Channel
    Wild Nacatl - Wolfbitten Captive

I mainly did this because it'd make things easier for me when i got ahold of the eldrazi. I was having a hard time cutting cards in the section, this reorganization makes this a non-issue.

I have since gotten the Eldrazi and supported it some with the changes above and these cuts / adds:
    -1 Chromantic Lantern
    -1 Precursor Golem
    -1 Into the Roil
    +1 Ulamog, The Infinite Gyre
+1 Kozilek, the Butcher of Truth
    +1 Show and Tell

Of course i also had to upgrade my cube for Conspiracy, and i've decided not to use the draft changing cards. Mostly because i don't think they are worth the hassle. The cards are probably more than good enough, but this is the decision i've made at this time. I'm testing out Dack's Duplicate, but might go back to a more controlling option if it doesn't work out.

    -1 Journey to Nowhere
    -1 Steam Augury
    -1 Fire // ice
    -1 Murderous Redcap
    +1 Council's Judgment
    +1 Dack's Duplicate
    +1 Dack Fayden
    +1 Grenzo, Dungeon Warden

One thing that could hint to the full spoiler being out: Earlier there were notes about which card was last put on the spoiler. It has now been replaced by "The Conspiracy runs deeper: Conspiracy Product Information"

Yeah, i like Morphling a lot. Cloudskate is better than a lot of people give it credit for, bouncing any kind of permanent is not irrelevant. But it's also somewhat of a pet card. I'm also thinking about Time Spiral, it doesn't really see a lot of play and it's hard to find the correct deck for it. I have been very happy with it at times, but i'm unsure whether i need the effect when i also have Timetwister.

Hmm. I might actually cut Kor Sanctifiers instead. Exalted Angel has been a decent dude, and while Kor Sanctifiers has been so to, the new card gives white another way to deal with these permanents. While big dudes for stuff like Wildfire and such isn't common place.

EDIT: I've also been thinking of cutting either Morphling or Riftwing Cloudskate for a Frost Titan/Keiga. Frost Titan is one of the best fatties in the U/R wildfire decks, but Keiga might be better overall. Blue has been lacking a bit of big guys to survive through wildfire, so the U/R Wildfire decks are often a bit awkward. Morphling has been decent, but Cloudskate makes the cut in about 90-100% of our blue decks.

Elspeth Tirel pushes the Token theme more, and has generally been decent, and seen more maindeck control play than the angel. If it fails to perform, i'll put the angel back in. I like the Angel a lot, but i just think the repeatable advantage the Tirel gives is better against control decks, and helps put blockers up against aggro decks about as well.
