This close to American Release? I'm certain that Square-Enix would make a caveat like that known. Any change to core gameplay (and, let's face it, leveling is something golden to Final Fantasy), would be known about up-front.
I'll be astoundingly surprised if there's any change between the two versions, apart from number of discs. I've read they run about equal in terms of how smooth/choppy each is from Kotaku. They'll be amazingly similar.
Haven't played in a while, just last week to make sure my gaming setup was kosher.
I think I'm the only person, anywhere, ever, whose "serious business" character is Olimar. He was the first character I ever played on the game and I only loved him more since. It's great because not many people know his tricks, so it catches them unawares. I'd need to train again...
If there's ever an MTGS codeswap for a Brawl get-together, I'd be all about it. Except today and tomorrow. And possibly Saturday.
Friend lent it to me and I played a bit of it. I'm probably going to invest in the GOTY, but for now my play-list is long enough. I don't need to add a Bethesda game on top of Brutal Legend and Batman.
Good for them. I was under the impression that there was a weapon either one would use and either one would have gotten it, pending the winner. Curious as to what the Demo's might have been.
I've been super excited for this, but am waiting to hold judgment once we get some proper gameplay footage. Otherwise I love the idea and the style is right up my alley.
If they do stay in America, I think Chicago would give them ample to work with. "Breeze City" or something. Plenty of landmarks and plenty of history with crime, seems like a nice fit.
It'd be silly for it to be another "numbered" GTA this soon after GTAIV. I'm inclined to think it'll be something like Vice City (although, it'd still be set in the 1980's) or someplace in San Andreas.
Deep down, I want it to be a new place in the GTA universe. Can't think of anything off-hand (I want to say Las Vegas, but that's Las Venturas).
I do, however, like the reference to "New York, I Love You" (which I have not seen).
I'm currently reading House of Leaves by Mark Z. Danielewski, and it is amazing, I cannot put the damn book down. It's a really unique plot and narrative design, and Danielewski is incredibly skilled to be able to pull of the story-within-a-story design effectively. Honestly, I would recommend this book to anyone, it's great. And don't let the size intimidate you, it draws you in so much you hardly realize how much you're reading. Although admittedly there are some parts that are tedious, but those are eclipsed by the amount of interesting parts.
One of my alltime favourite books. I got my girlfriend to start reading it. I'm excited for when she passes the checkmark.

Let us try again once more!
EDIT: Fun playing, Majora. Sorry I had to abruptly leave. You are clearly superior to me in all ways and I am very rusty from Brawl.
NEXT TIME, MAJORA. NEXT TIME.
See you then, hopefully.

I'll add those already in this thread and I'll see if there's a game going.

Also, this should probably be in Other Games.
GTA: Raccoon City.
Million dollar idea, that is.
We'll have to hold our breaths, because the companies are pretty pleased with where the generation stands right now.
