Good for you. You're not always fortunate to afford or draft good cards. Yes that 2/1 no ablities in Shards will win the game over ten turns. I will take my leave now and magic has many reasons to be contributed to besides winning.

Very luck dependent format. My real hero was simply path to exile. The card I went to the prerelease for and to spend money.

Limited and sealed is even more luck dependent try Legacy instead. A reason to draft is to blow my money on stuff because people take this game seriously. Some of the artwork is cool too.

But like also political figures he answers yes or no questions with long sentences. The answer was clearly yes or no.

But I did hope the inauguration would go smoothly and it didn't. I read that Chief Justice Roberts misread the oath to Obama so I continue my trend of epic fail for the U.S. president.

The last two elections didn't go well for me either.

  • posted a message on should children be taught religion?
Remember, I think I posted in this thread they should be taught basic right and wrong 'before' religion. If you teach them to take violent aspects of religion seriously and/or other parts seriously it will profoundly effect them. I'm not going to single out one religion but I've read texts in my adult years that make me cringe from many religions.

Any bad thing you do to your kids they will remember and because people think there's nothing better than religion it will amplify the corruption. Would there be anything wrong in teaching them to think in an objective mind frame?

So when is the violence going to stop? There are people out there who can live normal lives in peace without the war, corruption, and politics but it can be caused by those with a rhetoric of hate and a desire for control, chaos, ect, because they've learned bad behaviors.

To respond to the statement of this thread.

'Old statement finds that people hate people and have invented and/or taken a reason for doing so.'

Was that hard to figure out?

Realistically it depends on the individual too. How likely are they to change their mind and/or how well do you know them? A discussion to guess social trends would go too indepth for me so I revert back to my first response.

  • posted a message on I can't help but feel that I'm terrible at building mana bases in this format.
The problem isn't only the manabase but the creatures tend to die too quickly. You think you have a good creature but a cycled resounding silence and/or agony warp is too much. Would have liked more protection and/or creatures that stay alive.

  • posted a message on What would you choose?
Probably the gift so you can see another mana or creature at worst. It usually hits something and green belongs to Naya, Jund, and/or even Bant. But Bant hates me.

The worst I can think of is Upwelling and Fireball and that's not too bad. Sorry but I have knack for not getting into those situations. My deck either likes me or it doesn't. Recently my draft decks haven't though.

Pretty solid deck. I didn't draft as nicely last week but I did draft better yesterday. But being even more a luck-dependant game you don't win as nicely when you don't see mana so I've gone 2-2 and 2-1 lately.

But it's impossible to win them all and it is considered a low-level event for me. I'm pretty sure I'm going to do well in higher level events because people notice I don't really make bad plays.

Hope your gaming goes good for you too.

Do you have the full decklist on hand?

No, I don't. It means I'm hijacking this thread to post I got second last night in my FNM with Jund. Despite being passed Predator Dragon and opening Broodmate Dragon I also drafted burn like Soul's Fire and Resounding Thunder.

It was more of a Jund/Naya hybrid that probably would have still won without the dragon bombs.

But congrats on your funny deck, Swarm. Wish I could do something like that but everyone thinks it's all about winning so I have to build to win.

  • posted a message on The most constructed paper magic decks
I carry 8 decks around but I know where to find a game. I have about only 20 decks on paper and they are the hard-core control variety like Nature's Revolt and Cursed Totem.

Wheel of Sun and Moon and Energy Field

There's nothing wrong with the card. I might get stuck with a swever and simply have it in my deck to taunt people.

So has this thread actually proved anything? Maybe the card is not the problem. Anyone want to guess what I mean?

Let me guess... you are a troll? Right... Care to guess what that gives you? Yes, an infraction for trolling the forum. If I could, I would give you an additional half infraction for obscure flaming.

Normally, there would be a warning, but you already have an active infraction and a history of unwanted behavior. Shape up or ship out.
