Saheeli Rai actually fits very well into the Thermo Spell Deck.

You +1 until you have an explosive turn where you -2 copy a thermo, stormchaser, or reveler. I wouldn't play more than 2 copies though, still want to keep a high density of instants and sorceries.

Yea I got a very similar feeling. Best deck might be a thing in the ice deck, other than that the power level of other archtypes is severely lacking.

Yea I bit the bullet last night and started buying cards before price spikes from the PT.

As of right now I built GBW ramp/delirium deck with loam dryads, deathcap, traverse, corrupted grafstones to power out mindwrack demons, gitrog, and sorins. Debating on a 1-2 copy of season's past or ever after for graveyard recursion. Slight white splash for sorin and anguished unmaking.


I'm on vacation now, I plan on play testing against some buddies next week so I can see what works and really hone in on a strategy.

Sad day, when I return to magic after 3-4 years to only find out that Block is a dead format. So I've been toying with a few ideas for SOI block decks.

I've been working on WRB control, Jund, WGB delirium, GB delirium.

I really want to build a deck around The Gitrog Monster but I personally think that some avacyn / planeswalker control in WRB would probably be the strongest deck
