So, what exactly is going on with this? Do I need to resend a PM about my character or is it on hold, is it being shut down, or is it just needing more staff to run it?

If you need the help, I would be willing to step up, but I completely understand if you don't trust someone with only a handful of posts and not even a month of time around here.
Aranae skittered forward, after more than a few odd looks from the passersby. She had finally managed to "convince" a citizen to assist her with her paperwork. Even being half spider, she was still attractive enough to get what she needed from the poor soul. Smiling warmly to the gate guards, Aranae produced the paperwork that she hoped was all she needed to get into the city. Flashing her best smile, she batted her violet orbs at the guard.
"I do hope everything is in order here," she said, in a slightly sultry tone.

Age: Appears to be around 24 years of age by human standards. Her true age is unknown.

Appearance: She has a humanoid upper torso, but from the waist down, she has the legs of a spider. Two small horns protrude through her brown locks of hair. Aside from the spider legs and the horns, her humanoid features are very attractive to most humanoid races, and she can be a bit of a seductress, luring people in before she strikes. Her eyes are a vibrant violet hue. Her teeth are similar to that of humans, except her slightly elongated canines, which are more akin to spider fangs.
Her upper torso is bare, save for her own sturdy silk woven into a form fitting top to cover her breasts. Her well toned abdomen is bare, as are her arms. This is not as much for her own modesty, as it is to conform to social standards. The webbing is dyed a purple hue with natural dyes in order to help accentuate her eyes.
Background: A sentient being born when a common spider's egg was subjected to the dark power cast off by a demonic summoning ritual. The DNA mutated and a sentient, demonic creature was hatched! Spiders were naturally drawn to her, and the demonic power has infused her with the ability to use mana with ease! Due to the nature of her "birth" she dabbles both in the demonic arts, as well as commanding spiders to do her bidding.
Aranae has only recently decided to venture into the main parts of Ravnica, and has quickly adapted to the societal standards.
Weapon: Spidersilk Whip - Aranae is able to weave her own silk into a useable whip. (+1/+0)
