You don't really need to to rush this out in limited. In fact, unless HOU slows things down considerably you would probably be putting yourself at a disadvantage.
7 mana honestly isn't asking a lot for a bomb rare.
Well this is stupid. Gate discount doesn't even matter. You don't exile a damn thing when combat ends. Deal with this card or lose nine times outta ten.
The corona is in the shape of the staff, which appears to be taking the shape of his head.
But the art is ambiguous given the flavor text. Which makes it seems like he just hucks his own head at his target. Which seems like a poor strategy given the events unfolding on the plane at the moment.
I guess you can kind of make out the outline of this shoulders by the hand as well.
Moral of the story. At pre-release, win the die roll, drop Wasteland Scorpion turn 3 or you're gonna have a bad time.
Just because a company don´t lose money over a leak doesn´t mean it´s okay just to leak everything, especially if it´s illigal to do so. It´s still about respecting companies product and understanding the work and thought put into the products.
Yeah, and I am not saying any of that is false. The leaker should be punished to the full extent of the law. But that wont restrain me. This isnt someone's private photos, nor is this hurting national security. The reason people are excited to see these cards is because they think WotC has a good product and they want to see it. That isnt the worst problem a company could have.
Except it diminishes the excitement their customers have regarding intervening products, thus leading directly to reduced sales and a loss of revenue. Revenue that is necessary for WotC to continue producing said products.
I'm hype for a Gatewatch asskicking.
I'm hype for Piratesaur land.
The excitement of product with or without third party spoilers/leaks is completely dependent on the player.
I've seen sets spoiled and leaked to early for 22 years and it hasn't cause my excitement to waver. My Excitement wavers when companies do stupid crap. Like wait 12 years for a sequel (good job Blizzard) or 3 months of Sombra teasers (good job.... oh dang!)
This makes WotC look dumb more than anything. We are going to keep buying and playing, they are going to keep printing.
eternalize cost: Return [card name] from your graveyard to your hand. Activate this ability only during your upkeep. [basically key wording Eternal Dragon!!]
Good. Time to get back into Standard. So ends the worse period of the format since Caw (the period defined as the bans from Copter onward), and hopefully all the big announced changes on the horizon will keep the meta diverse for the foreseeable future.
And of course, the usual round of Gatewatch hate rears its ugly face. No, they aren't disbanding. Wizards is not going to disband the new faces of their game. They're going to stay a team, they are going to survive Amonkhet (even if they unfortunately don't defeat Bolas), and they are not going to turn out to be bad guys. Honestly, the nearsighted hatewanking I see around here disgusts me. Wizards is doing a hell of a lot better job than any of us could, and they at least are enjoying what they do.
Does it? Does it cause you to feel revulsion or profound disapproval? That's a strong reaction. I for one don't hate the concept of the GW, but I do want to see them get their "Empire" moment. Obviously they won't disband. I would say Wizards is doing "okay"
I don't foresee them becoming bad guys but they sure as hell aren't forming new or lasting relationships. Ugin is PO'd, I can see Ajani berating them as well after this. Gids could die, so Chandra would be despondent. (BR Chandra woo woo!) Tamiyo has misgivings. Kiora dunt curr. It could cause rifts in the future, splitting PW's into three major factions. GW, Anti-GW, Evil Bastards.

The Lightning Storm says....Muhahahahahaha. Sucka!
Card is nuts though. Poison, Energy, Experience, other obscure counters. A damn fine hoser.

Now where are my Dominaria leaks?
It's a ship with a dragon carved into the bow in some swampland. Methinks.
New guy is a savvy thinker. I like it.
