Even if the Schism isnt a rift in and of itself, no one knows where it came from
The goblin piloting the ship in Utarva creates the Schism when Hauc's experiment goes "awry". It is explained that after a long and painful tear from the physical realm he awakens somewhere undefined. His last words in the Guildpact prolouge are "Where am I". He certianly didn't seem to end up in the Agyrem. That being the case, it is perfectly plausable to theorize that the Schism is in fact another rift.
However, it is also made clear that the souls of dead Ravnicans are pulled to the Schism and thrust into the Agyrem. Now is it not safe to think that the Agyrem is one of a possible infinate number of places the Schism could lead to?

This is a great theory. It is never fully explained in Guildpact where the goblin pilot flying over Utvara ends up after his mission fails. Nor does Niv answer Crix about his whereabouts after the Neph fight in Dissension. It's never stated Niv is a planeswalker, but c'mon, he's Niv.
I find all this inter-set storyline amazing. For me, the best part of the TS novel wasn't Bolas elder dragon pimping Teferi's face, but the sheer mention of two pincer like spires of rock jutting out of the sea. It all came together at that point and I was beside myself.
My mind is just exploding with the possiblities of what Planar Chaos will offer. If in fact it will have to do with Kami/Rav (and this point it seems promising) which other legends would pop up from those worlds!?

Match 19
DarkArchangel vs. Pseudofate
Judge: Istanbul
Temporal Dominance
:4mana::symu:
Sorcery
Choose target creature from outside the the game with a time counter on it. Remove all time counters and put it into play under your control.
As long as Temporal Dominance is in your graveyard, the next time a spell would be played from outside the game you may pay :4mana::symu:. If you do, remove Temporal Dominance from the game and counter that spell, otherwise, remove Temporal Dominance from the game.
After a miserable June leauge, I placed 24th in July, a personal best. August RGD held the same mediocre pool and performance, and let's not even get into the Coldsnap release leauge.
So September is here and a new leauge begins!
I think I put together the best of what I had availible. However I normally think that every month and get proven wrong.
Match #10
Blinking Spirit vs. Pseudofate
Judge: Raia
Lestat de Lioncourt
Legendary Creature - Vampire
:symr:, :symtap:: Destroy target creature. It can't be regenerated. Then, flip a coin. If you win the flip, return that creature from the graveyard to play under your control with a +2/+2 counter on it. That creature is a vampire in addition to its creature types and has ":2mana:: Regenerate this creature". If you lose the flip, return that creature from the graveyard to play under target opponent's control with a +2/+2 counter on it. That creature is a vampire in addition to its creature types and has ":2mana:: Regenerate this creature". Then, sacrifice Lestat de Lioncourt.
:symb:: Regenerate Lestat de Lioncourt.

Whew, thats a mouthful, yet absolutely necessary.
In "Interview With the Vampire", Lestat embraces Louis and grants him the ageless power of the vampires. Louis is his friend and ally, winning the flip. Yet, when the same power is granted to Claudia, in time, she grows to hate Lestat for the power he has granted (she's a child, and doomed forever to stay as one so long as she is vampire) and takes his life, losing the flip. It's common knowledge that being a vampire gives you a leg up on your enemies and, save the sun or fire, eternal life, thus the +2/+2 and regen.
Lestat is evil and chaotic, arrogant and impulsive. Black and Red never had a better poster child.
For as long as I've been playing Magic, I have never been exceptional at it. In the early days when my friends and I thought Carnivorus Plant couldn't block flyers because the flavor text stated "no means of locomotion", to my recent conversion to limited only. Through all this, all though I've been dissapointed when suffering a loss, I haven't complained to my opponents, or blamed mana screw (except when your, well, mana screwed). My RGD release leauge went bad, and now my monthly leauge is fairing worse. 1-4 week 1 and now I've suffered my first 0-5 week ever.
I try to better myself after every match, and rarely ask for assistance. I like figuring it out myself. But its time to break that habit.
I don't know how to utilize the nifty deck window.

I've been playing MTG since 4th Edition, and switched to full time MTGO with the release of CHK due to lack of intrest in the community. Just can't find the people, short of driving the 3 and half hours to Neutral Ground, just to get there and get slapped around during regionals in 2001 and losing your best cards for sale totaling over $500 when you left them on the table because the tourney start announcement was called! AHHHHH! AHHHHH! AHHHHH!
That was a bad day.
So now its MTGO all the way. With the exception of PTQ's, depending on format.
