Thoughts on Quick Silver Amulet in the sideboard and when to bring it in? I feel we end up ramping a lot of the time that having a "permament thread" on the board can be pretty good.

Hey guys, I always liked these type of griselbrand combo decks but never played them.
How necessary are chalice of void? That card spiked so hard my wallet is already hiding from me.
Does Laboratory maniac have a spot here, in order to play around leyline of sanctity? (I understand Borborygmos does not kill through it, right?)
Idea would be to play it out of manamorphose since if they let you draw your entire deck (aka not killing Griselbrand), they should not have an answer to it.
However this is my starting point:

Note: inquisition OR thoughseize? is there any reason you would play Inquisiton (aside of burn decks)?

@slowgod yes, they can combo once more if they have spare mana and pif, thus if you put the storm spells in the graveyard when gifts resolve, they cannot win you in the spot unless they naturally draw another storm card (mainly Grapeshot, empty gives you small odds with cryptic tapping and supremes/detention. It's not a perfect answer, but its a really good one that can almost win the game in the spot. Also with snapcaster it reads, screw your opponent twice with 2 mana!

I see a lot of you guys saying about how problematic it is to face storm.
Well I have a suggestion for you that actually won me every single game I have drawn:
Mindbreak Trap This totally destroys combo based decks, and its a silver bullet specially against storm, I have 2 of them on the sideboard and may remove them because I face more dredge than storm in my meta.

Since the new planeswalker rule I see a lot of you slamming more gideons like AOZ or 3rd Trials, but doesnt Baby Jace appeal anyone? It used to exist a shell based on baby jace and combined with AoT or Beleren it could be a pretty strong plan, although it TURNS ON any type of removal for our opponents =S
    Maybe 1x Beleren + 1x AoT?

There is some footage in twitch, (look for The_ballester -> Danker Jueves, since there are 2 guys streaming on that account). Basically, Hieroglyphic is one of the best cards of the deck from his perspective, because in the worse case it cicles and the best case it is card advantage that allows you to take the control game. Electrolyze is really good as well, but probably the worse spell at the same time. He sides it out a bunch of games but feels he cannot cut it. if u play this list as I did, after seeing him you will notice how smooth the decklist feels.

edit: the channel is in spanish ofc, but they answer in english if u ask something. =)

I'm kinda surprised no one is playing UR Delver, here in Spain we have 1 guy that played a UR Delver list to do 4-1 4-1 4-1 3-2 5-0 in his lasts 5 leagues with it, with 4 young pyromancer and 2 cryptic serpent, tempo based, abusing cards like Mana Leak and Deprive.
Here u go with the list:

Its strange someone tells this, when jeff did like 3-4 4-1s on MTGO and saying the deck is in a reasonable place spot and it gets so many free wins with the gifts package right now. Maybe it's because he is in the esper goryo's list, but u have like 4-5 vods of leagues with it on his channel, and he seems to do it pretty well against most decks, with chances of defeating everything at least.
Just notice he dropped every lotv from the deck because metagame is absolute garbage to play her. It's like one of the worst planeswalkers, at least on mtgo, right now.

1 fetchland means 100% land drops the rest of the game
1 Ghost Quarter means your opponent has no lands in the long run.
Value tool in control matches and destroys tron.
anyway is more of a pet card, so i might toss it. just sharing what it was my list and want to change for the tourney

Guys, big local tourney is coming to my zone (top16 filled with playsets of fetchlands everywhere), so I was thinking on tunning the deck to beat shadow, burn and eldrazi/tron lists, since that's what I expect the most. So, even if I am a big fan of Spell Snare, I dont think I want them, at least not more than 1 in main deck. But since there's plenty of graveyard hate I wonder if Logic Knot is worth as a 3 of or better 2... also dont know what to put in the spots since the counterspells catch everything.
I am on the old-lovely draw go list with 4TT, 4 charms, Logics, spell snare and so on, no serums, no AV and so on.
IS there any news on Wafo Tapa lists?
    SB I was thinking:
    3 x Runned Halo
    1 X Engineered Explosives
    1 x Crucible of worlds
    2 x Thoughtseize
1x Vendilion Clique (maybe move to main?)
    2x Stony Silence
    2x Blessed Alliance
The other cards are flex spots in the side. Maybe some relics? Monastery Mentor for graveyard hate if I move to serum visions? surgicals? other hate in form of creature since they side removal, like meddling mage? asdasdf
    My old main deck:

are we really THAT worried about Stony Silence?
I mean, I tested some games and every time I am able to play around it with Tezzeret, Giraphur or Herald beatdowns and we still get to whir for bridge, crucible, grafdiggers, pithing needle, we are still able to chalice if u run them etc, which means our silver bullets are most of the time untouched, just the combo is hurted. Also, most of us have discard spells, so we can take it if it's necessary.

Hey guys, I've started on MTGO and I am building a UR Storm deck since it is cheap. But I am planning on a mid-long term to end up playing a Tezzerator similar to this:
    https://gyazo.com/73bc380fc8d1188d26657396595f53a7
I am not really sure how good mishra's and 3rd opals are, over the 4th tezz and other silver bullets, but would like to get a hint or two from ur experience.
    <3
The doubt with opals is mainly because I dont see me activating it consistently t1/2 with the Serum/inqui package, which I think is really good to be consistent and improve against decks like Storm

EDIT: changed Ratchet bomb for nihil spellbomb, I noticed that just by adding 1 mana artifacts, I could improve the use of Opal. But not sure how many 1-mana's enough, I am at 4 now. Also moved the crucible to the side for trading post since it looked less clunky in starting hands, not sure either

Hey guys, I had played the old UR Pyromancer Ascension Storm back when I started with Modern, and now I decided to go online.
Since Storm was always cheap, I thought about starting with it one more time, now that it is better positioned,
was thinking about a list like this which costs 140 tix on MTGO, not sure about 3x Peer Through Depths, or if there's nothing better to dig:
    https://gyazo.com/9f9559f8f7dceb27705b7cd8f79b756a

    Any thoughts?
(of course there are no blood moons/scaldings for budget reasons, and I am going for a long run to build Tezzerator there too, so Polluted is mandatory for me)
Specially comments on the sideboard, since I dont really know the MTGO meta. (I guess tons of DS for sure, but not much more)

I've found Monastery Mentor pretty good, specially against decks that can bring easy graveyard hate like Eldrazis. But if you're expecting a bit more midrange and CoCo decks, Ashiok will be better I guess. I don't really like geist at all against most decks, its pretty hard for us to protect it, even control decks can just smash a snapcaster in combat phase to chumpblock it and it is ***** against non-control decks.
