Picked up 2 Kruphix, God of Horizons and 2 Rakasha Deathdealer for this build and they fit in really nicely. The Rakashas came out early, turn 3 turn 4, and stayed till late game, around turn 8. And the Kruphix was amazing, hit kruphix on turn 5 and was emptying my mana pool to him at the ends of my opponents end step and then u tapping, and building up colorless. Got prophet out on the field and the mana started to build up so quickly, by around turn 10 or 11 I hit a villainous wealth for 30 cards and totally stomped the game. I faced off a mirror match, a black green devotion to fliers deck, and blue black control and won all 3 games 2-0. This deck still needs a lot more work to get it to where I want it. This weekend I'm picking up 2 more rakasha's, thinking about getting some dictate of Kruphix, and then getting some coursers, a genus is hydra, maybe another brood master and maybe another prophet. Getting 3 more temples of mystery. I'm not sure what else im getting just yet, maybe a villainous wealth or 2 as well. But this deck is playing harsh and its a lot of fun. But as well it's a massively quick threat that has to be dealt with quickly
That's very true, I compeltely forgot about that card. I'll have to try and pick up some caves from my local shop, I went last night and picked up 2 Kruphix and 2 Rakasha's and they have the caves for about 2$ a piece. But I'll also have to find out if they have some chained to the rocks. But since you do seem like you know quite abit, do you know if Triad of Fates can target creature cards in your graveyard? It doesn't really state on the cards abilities where the creature has to be, just that it has to be a creature?
I picked him up just cause he was a bargain buy and also in case someone recomended him for this lol you never know. And if I was to go into the 3 colors I would have to pick up some lands. I do have a plate set of blood stained mire and a playset of temple of malice. These were also recent pick ups for the binder to try and get my sultai stomp deck built
I think I might have come up with a pretty decent budget build here. It's evasive, and tries to sneak in damage where it can't by denying blockers, and also shutting down your opponents creatures. Deck price is $7.40
And I'm still trying to work out my mama base. But the mana ramp is in here to drop more than one creature a turn, and also the servants are to bring out your creatures with haste after you frost Lynx, voyages end, Winterflame, or void snare your opponents creatures. This completely *****s them down from either being able to block or it causes them to have their creatures tapped out, making them useless. Also Hammerhand became a key part in this deck. Mostly for your weaker creatures to pump them slightly and then to also give them haste, and also shutti down one of your opponents creatures for just 1 red mana. Chandra is also a pretty decent engine for causing creatures not to block. You can probably get away with running more than 1 in this deck, but I find the 1 of to be sufficient enough with the rest of this deck. And the steam Augurys in here are just to help you get vital cards to make your next (or last) turns count. You need to be able to have a draw engine to try and get to the void snares or voyages ends to shut down the defense while you try and squeeze through for damage.
okay so this is my current deck list, and the list at the very top was made just to upgrade this build. I started with finding this list online of someone combining the clash pack decks into a standard build. And it does seem decent, just not consistent. And that needs to change. So picked up 2 Prophet of Kruphix and i need 3 more Courser of Kruphix and 1 Nissa, Worldwaker to start the upgrade. im not sure if it would be worth the money to just buy 2 more clash packs to get almost all of the cards that i need, but it has a lot of vital cards inside of it. So that could very well be an option for me. I just want this build to basically be mana ramp to fatties, splash some in game tricks. Having a good removal package is nice, and playing blue for the card draw engines are nice. so i guess i want to be like mana ramp, controlling fatties splash card draw if thats even a thing. I just dont want to net deck, i want to make a home brew with some help from all of you) then to go an dominate FNM with a competitive standard build. so input would be appreciated on this

but they have way more competive builds than i do, considering im playing out of the box 2015 commander decks. i mean the demons are decent and the Scrap sevant is nice as well. but they dont compare. so if anyone has some sick artifact combos i can do with daretti, that would be sweet and help me out a ton
so the list above is still going as the most current list im working with. And im going to continue to build off that unless someone has a better build for me to go off of.
But i picked up 2 more Prophet of Kruphix for $2.00 for botch which was a really sweet deal, and now im needing to pick up 3 Coruser of Kruphix to make a playset of those for this deck.
Im not positive if i want to use polukrunos in this deck just because his price is pretty high, and hes been played alot. it makes me want to try a new creature in his place. and i want that to be Sagu Mauler just because his potential is outrageous!!!
that is very true, that list seems very cheap and effective. I read this comment pretty much right after you posted it, and i went and picked up 2 Herald of Torment to add to the evasive package. Im not sure if it would be any good in this build but what about possibly adding some Triad of Fates? And like you were saying it will slow down this deck to go into 3 colors, but splashing red for the Butchers seems so good. I might just try to find another way to use them, maybe theres a net deck that utilizes them better than what this deck would. But as of right now besides possible adding 2 more Herald of Torment is there any other upgrades i can make to this?
I'm not really sure what else to drop. Like the only other things I can think of adding to make it better is blood soaked champions, more chief of the scale and chief of the edge, and better removal. But if you're getting stranded Ina game where big creatures do get out and a walls put in front of you there's really no threats to try and push past with. Butcher would add some much needed evasion, and would become a threat in the late game when it makes it to that point
i was thinking the butchers would be decent in here considering all the low drops to sac to give him different abilities for turn would work. and then after sacing the 1-2 mana cards to him, use return to the ranks to swarm the board. should i drop 1 Tormented Hero to add another Bloodsoaked Champion at least?
So im currently working on building a deck thats non budget for standard, but that build is about 2 weeks away from being complete. So i found this at a shop today while picking up some cards for the other build. And i wasnt totally sure what was in it and I wanted something to play in standard while i was working on the other deck. So picking up the Khans of Trakir event deck seemed like a decent way to get a decent deck to play and i would just upgrade it. I expected it to be like 3 colors and it wasnt. it was just white and black, so i need to upgrade this right away.

And this is where my problem comes in. Cause this is a REAL budget build, so budget. Im not spending anymore money. But i think i have a decent selection of cards to choose from to turn this into a nice Mardu deck. This is what i have below
Is it worth the money to upgrade my standard deck I've been brewing to try and get it to where I want it? I need this deck to be competitive because I'm sick of losing and placing low at every fnm I go to. I'm looking into making a solid investment into a standard deck, and I wanted to build off of this idea of trying to run mana to fatties. I'll also drop the Garruck from this build, and maybe put aetherspouts to the sideboard?
But as of right now you think the best choice would be to drop hooded hydra and add another genesis, get rid of Garruck and add another nissa, drop 2 of the souls and add 2 more coursers along with maybe dropping arbor colossus and adding another prophet of kruphix or two?
