This thread has been the most helpful quickly developing modern dredge. As a member of the meta-minority I'm finally happy to see we have a solid functioning core decklist.
I'm sticking with rally for the win. And just picked up a set of collective brutality. Can't wait to take em out fer a rip.
Keep the entertaining play-by plays coming. I'm always learning about rare interactions and timing issues like the conflagration of ooze in priority. Well done whittling this down.
Hey guys thanks for all the input keeping up with how dredge is changing our modern meta.
I don't remember what page the sideboard primer was on or who posted it. It was very helpful.
Does anyone have an updated deck by deck siding list to review. Not much has changed but a lot of us see more benefit with 3's on conflags and loams maindeck.
Yes lol ,, I wasn't gonna say it Imborj, but we may aswell bring it up. I was thinking it. The explosiveness of just one more mana within first 2 turns is huge.
T1 brutality ....hmmm
I haven't played it out enough. It looks fragile. Again , I'm used dredging in legacy and try to get your kill shot as quick as possible so rally the peasants is huge. Not sure why we aren't collectively agreeing on more than 2 slots for this. dont give them a chance to see what the deck can do. Just end it.
Also a lot of sideboarding I see lantern has opted to cut momhug altogether. the sideboard tech posted is great. I will tinker more with this suggestions. I'm not crazy about brutality or disruption and would rather react with siding in decay and claims. I won't know until I test it.
Hey guys would just like to say thanks for keeping dredge page active and posting your well written play by plays. The meta is evolving and so are the players. I like to see what's been working and why.
Ive seen earlier there's a bridges/gargadon build and was wondering if gargadon is still a thing or a completetely abandoned tech for our meta.
Lantern your sideboard tech was great. Good input.
A few weeks ago after reading this thread on modern dredge. I've transformed my legacy into a modern. Is anyone having any luck running the gargadon-bridges builds with the "mom-hugs"? Very similar to the fkz builds in legacy. These modern games are a bit more grindy. Please keep posting play by plays guys! I love to read your tactics with siding games 2 and 3. Especially with established decks still evolving. Hooked on rally the peasants right now. Those extra hits just too hard to pass up.
The current meta is so tough that even the OG version would have a difficult time. Going with combo means lots of practice recognizing opportunities to bait permission decks and balls out vs Aggro.
I've noticed there's not much love to noxious revival.. This card saved my ass too many times to count. The deck never stalls and getting reshape, silence or faiths reward at just the right time can mean the difference between winning and losing.
What about running our silences in maindeck. Every deck has its kryptonite. Combo playing is a matter of just making sure coast is clear to go off.
Any new strategies like polymorph or proteus staff I find fun.
I'll tinker some more.
The stories should be available.
I would love to read them all. Are there any story's in e-book format?
If not, perhaps the market for this is ripening.
so I made the eggs deck and tinkered with noxious revivals and I'm hooked.
I'm not sure if eggs is performing well in modern. this thread hasn't been too active.
I'm a combo player and just got off a big dredging binge. I'm looking at my poached kci eggs and wondering if we have a revised decklist that's actually winning and resilient early and midgame. also curious about the thopter eggs.
any input will be helpful.

Let us know how it goes. T1 cathartic or 2 lootings or a brutality... would be great if it were consistent enough
T1 brutality ....hmmm
2 steam vent
4 stomping ground
2 blood crypt
2 wooded foothills
3 bloodstained mire
4 gemstone mine
2 dakmor salvage
1 mountain
1 ghost quarter and 2 bog are in sb

More play by play please!
