    I agree with most of what you said and definitely that Hazzoret feels like that but also that i would like p argue that Avacyn, robotic as she was, she did care a lot for the humans and angels on innistrad. All to say that Avacyn could be another example of a God truly caring for her people.

    PW removal yay...too bad its terrible.

    I don't quite like the "every divine thing is a secretly evil monster" storyline from since Theoros (or even before) and since when two humans enough to hold down Gideon when not even Ulamog could crush him???? A+ storytelling

    I did thoroughly enjoy this story although I felt a bit confused. The scene where lili was loosing control of the zombies was it the veil the raven man or emrakul? I did enjoy her little battle with the titan and interaction with emeria was very well done IMO. The story team may have truly reginighted my respect for the eldrazi.

    I feel like maybe they took the "Avengers" concept too far here because at points it read like a storyboard for a comic.

    Also I think I know what lineup they're going for:
    Jace = Spiderman
    Gideon = Captain America
    Chandra = Thor
    Nissa = Scarlet Witch
    Liliana = Black Widow

    Tamiyo, of course, is a special appearance by Doctor Strange.
    Well IMO I would have put Chandra as hulk since all they make her do is "Chandra burn!" Like hulk smash. Alsi would liliana be doc strange due to her dabbling in the dark arts or doom? Maybe Loki?

    Story was ok not too great other than lili calling Gideon meat and Chandra describing liliana's dess . was hoping this story would explain why zombies aren't affect but walls are but I feel like were getting close to that explanation.

    But we were already told that zombies and geists can't be corrupted, because zombies don't have a mind that can go insane and geists don't have a biological body that can mutate. Walls on the other hand-

    Waaaaait a minute.
    well walls and weapons have minds on innistrad I guess

    I got a question on why can't emi mutate zombies but can mutate inanimate objects like in thraben inspector
    Or is it she can't mutate liliana's zombies since she is a planeswalker.

    I don't know about the Thraben Inspector, but think about what we've seen in the lore. How everyone seems to develop a sort of hive mind. I'mrakul, Be'mrekul, so on and so forth. Also how Jace was affected. I think you need a mind to be affected by Emrakul. Zombies are mindless, so they're not affected. Planeswalker need to be mentally stronger to resist her.

    I know someone's going to bring up Hanweir being transformed, but it melded with the garrison, so I'm guessing that's what drives the transformation.

    I think the real question is: Why did Emrakul bring lamps to life?

    Well shows a wall choking this guy sooo

    Well this story made being a vampire pretty much pointless in how easy you're killed and that draining the blood of the person you're drinking doesn't hinder them... I'm bitter not so bitter, bitter about sorin and innidtrad and not so bitter that nahiri is fullfledged villain. This entire block has been heart wrenching, I need some plot armor power of friendship ending so everything will be honcky dory.

    Lovely story isn't it just great that liliana just bosses through life? Three of innistrads best black characters all together in one room was beautiful. However it did leave a question? Is liliana now stronger than sorin with the veil?

    I'm not saying Nahiri is faultless, but in fairness, Sorin and Ugin are also at the same fault - they did the exact same thing to Zendikar. More stuff. Honestly, none of the trio are "innocent" in any way. To say one deserves a fate worse than the other two is rather hypocritical in my opinion because I am of thought they all crossed a threshold that makes all them equally bad already.
    Sorry, no. Just... no.

    You can argue Sorin and Ugin are bad for actions that they took regarding other stuff, but definitely not Sorin's reaction and the plan for the eldrazi imprisonment.

    Sorin and Ugin have something that Nahiri really did not have: perspective. They are much longer lived than her, and the way they think and act goes accordingly to their age. When they planned to lure the Eldrazi in to trap it was, in fact, for the greater good. You're saying Sorin's lack of empathy is the same as inviting eldritch monstrosities with the express purpose to destroy a whole plane. No, that is absurd. It is not the same thing, not even close to the same thing. Sorin acted like a jerk, but there was no imediate problem to be solved anymore. Nahiri came and said she had dealt with the issue, and Sorin was okay about it up until when Nahiri got pissed and attacked him. Your quote of him to say that he didn't see Zendikar as a responsibility is also wrong. He said that "not trust, obedience" thing to express how he still sees himself as a mentor and a superior to Nahiri, meaning: he made her what she was and that she had no place in expecting things from him just because they were friends, but she still should follow his orders. It is a dickish thing to say, but it doesn't correlate at all with "I didn't care about my responsibility towards Zendikar". Him not receiving the signal was an unfortunate coincidence, that's all. He even went back to Zendikar in Teeth of Akoum to try and seal the eldrazi, and when he knew they were free or something he went after Ugin. These are the actions of someone that does care about their responsibility, I'm sorry.

    About Ugin: you're really pushing it here. He didn't eradicate the eldrazi and his position is PERFECTLY defensable. He saw them, studied them and then found a solution to contain them up until he could get more information. That is probably, in a vaccum, the best decision anyone could've made. If he just killed the titans right off the bat (assuming he could), he didn't know what could happen. The eldrazi are unfathomably old, it is pretty reasonable to expect they are a crucial part of the multiverse. Ugin tricked two planeswalkers into trapping them... so what? His decision was still the best one, and his solution was perfectly solid. You're also speculating on the part of "Ugin could have done something before, he just didn't want to". Maybe he didn't have the resources at the time, maybe he really needed to find people like Sorin and Nahiri, etc.

    Anyway, from what we know from these 3 so far, Nahiri is by far the worse of them. Mind you: I don't blame her at all. I can't imagine what would be like to try and do the right thing just to be imprisioned for countless years in a complete void, all alone and then with demons around. Terrible. I wouldn't blame anyone who just wanted to see the world burn afterwards. That said, she is still responsible for her actions, and her actions were pretty pretty terrible. She is the worse of the three at the moment, but that might change once we know more about her motivations. For now she doesn't fit white philosophy at all. At all. Purging a whole plane full of bystanders to get rid of just one guy (Sorin) is not what a white character would do, unless the guy was some tremendous threat for much more people, which is not the case.
    thank you for this. I never got how one infraction of him being "not Now give me a break" makes him this great evil guy even though he sealed nahiri and being a dick. Being a dick shouldn't label you as a big bad, if it did jace most definitelydefinitely should be.

    This story re-ignighted my fear of the elsrazi. Good job story team.... I'm amazed avacyn actually was keeping a titan out great work sorin. The story was just an awesome compilation of despair especially bruna and Gisela. They cannot I repeat cannot call that thing an angel, they simply cannot that is the most frigtebing disgusting thing ever to call itself an angel. Chancellor of the annex and the other broken angels are soft compared to that, they have some sort of resemblance and are supposed to phyrexian angels but that that is grotesque even compared to a pgyrexian. I see now the eldrazi IMO is worse than phyrexia worse than yawgmoth just horrible

    All this sorin hate damn. Yes he was a dick at that moment but he did say not now but nahiri was mad and impatient and I understand why too. And why would avacyn be insane cuz she's connected to sorin? In her final story we see it was her madness that made her see sorin as a monster which he is by not his fault and tries to make up for it in some way. Some bias may be here since sorin is one of my fav characters alongside avacyn teysa nahiri and elesh norn. The story was a great insight to nahiri and how she felt about the events only problem for me was how she sparked so much hate on sorin on this forum. Like everyone hates white geez
