What type of deck is the Vampiric Thirst Intro deck considered? I like that and was thinking about improving it into a proper standard deck or I saw in the budget sticky about decks a list for WB Vampires as well in the under $50 section but theres no higher cost one listed. So i'm kinda lost as to how to build a really good Vampire deck since it isn't used by high level players so it's not as if theres a decklist I can really follow.

Getting help is really hard when you don't know how to get started building a deck in the first place and most of the time you need to of built a deck already to show when asking for help. The only guide I could find online on how to improve the Intro deck was an article where the guy posted it on a news site and went only for commons and uncommons so I kinda know how to improve it but not how to improve it properly with the good cards lol.

I swear i've spent $300 or so on 5ish decks over the last 15 years trying to learn MTG and best I can do is lose every game.

Get help building a deck (because i'm new and don't know how to build a deck or plan one) and in 2 or 3 months i'm left with an illegal deck with half the cards banned because they were from an older set. Other times I ask for help building a deck and get told to look at a website called top8 and pay over $300 on a deck with no idea if i'll like how it plays.

I have had demo's at stores that show you how a turn works and how cards work but an intro deck is a hunk of junk that can't win anything against proper decks unless you upgrade it. Red and green agro decks were what I had help building but it's a deck that needs creatures out to do dmg but then I can't keep one enemy out because I have to defend to stop them killing me and if I don't it still doesn't save the creatures because they use spells that kill them and there seems to be no way to defend against it.

Basically I get owned so fast I can't do anything and if I can't practice strategy I can't really learn strategy and if I even start to work out how to use my deck better at all then the older banned cards make my deck change and i'm left with no idea again.

Spent in total on drafts and decks over $1k in the last 15 years purely for the aggravation of winning only maybe 1 in 20 games and even those games I win are only 1 out of 3 so I lose in best 2 out of 3 pretty much 100% of the time.

I'm bad at planning strategys but i'm good at following strategys but I need to learn/have them explained first. Learning how to use my deck to counter the enemys deck is way harder since I guess it can't really by taught or explained easily.

I'm new to the game and was wondering if a deck built around both white and green creatures gaining trample and vigilance is a competitive option or not?
