Just an idea: With Valorous Stance and Lightning Strike you can kill every creature, I'm running 4 of each in my jeskai and I find the very usefull. They're also multi-purpose.
I feel like the deck really wants Jeskai Ascendancy. It buffs your dudes even more and lets you cycle through your deck so you can get more cheap spells to cast to trigger prowess and the Ascendancy even more. Plus it would let you dig for an Aqueous Form if you're facing a wall of blockers to help you finish out the game faster.
I also think you want less counter spells so you can run more cards that will actually buff your dudes and let you end the game sooner. Either look at Defiant Strike, Gods Willing (which can double as a single turn Aqueous Form) or Dragon Mantle to help you trigger Prowess and the Ascendancy and to search your deck faster.
I'd also consider looking at Ride Down for the sideboard. It's effectively another one turn Aqueous Form that also kills blockers for you so you're not relying so much on just the Aqueous Form to push through damage.
So I can cut 2 Dissolve and 2 Stubborn Denial for 3 Defiant Strike and 1 Mindswipe (because I still can't go without counters).
In the sideboard I'll remove 3 Whirlwind Adept to add 4 Ride Down. Then I just have to fix the mana for more .
How does that sound?
Anyway I'm planning to do some local T2 turnaments with this deck.
The main goal of the deck is to do a lot of damage directly to the opponent, this can be done with big "Prowess" guys.
Deck mechanics
To make sure that the damage would be done only to the opponent is used Aqueous Form, that not only triggers Prowess and make a creature unblockable, it even lets you Scry 1, a good way to control what you're drawing.
If your opponent plays some creatures you can respond in two ways:
- Counter the spell, with Mindswipe and Dissolve;
- Take care of the creature later (and trigger Prowess), with Valorous Stance and Lightning Strike.
The "counters"(Mindswipe, Dissolve and Stubborn denial) are good for defence against creature destruction (Anger of the Gods and others). Jeskai Charm is good for:
- Getting rid of an opponent creature or saving yours;
- Killing a planeswalker or doing a lot of damage to the opponent;
- Buffing your creatures and gaining some life. Treasure Cruise is replaceable with Dig Through Time (I miss 1 but for budget needs, I'm waiting to buy one) and it's just for some card advantage.
While this is an intresting article what seems missing is the fact that as boxes/boosters are opened, and singles are sold, the prices will drop.
Will an Imperial Recruiter keep his 70$ price tag after a week? And after a month?

Sideboard use
The sideboard is made to play against some specifics decks.
Whirlwind Adept and Negate are used against Control decks.
Disdainful Stroke is a counter for Siege Rhino and other big guys (Stormbreath Dragon).
Erase is a counter for Banishing Light and Theros "Gods".
Barrage of Boulders is a "cleaner" for tokens decks and for another source of unblockability.
Suggestions are welcome!
