Hey all! I used to play paper magic quite often and stopped around Lorwyn block, but recently felt the cravings kick in and here I am, loving MTGO. Glad to be back on the scene again, but I don't know anyone else playing, so hit me up and let's draft or something. Smile

Grin It was a private message I received last night, just made me laugh a little bit. I'm not very religious though...

Just have a look at The Bible of (Bernaba).

I've never heard the term Bernaba in my life.

So apparently a lot of people got this message.

    Excuse me!!
Would you stop for a moment?!
    O...man...Haven't you thought-one day- about yourself ?
    Who has made it?
Have you seen a design which hasn't a designer ?!
Have you seen a wonderful, delicate work without a worker ?!
It's you and the whole universe!..
Who has made them all ?!!
You know who ?.. It's "ALLAH",prise be to him.
    Just think for a moment.
How are you going to be after death ?!
Can you believe that this exact system of the universe and all of these great creation will end in in nothing...just after death!
Have you thought, for a second, How to save your soul from Allah's punishment?!
Haven't you thought about what is the right religion?!
Read ... and think deeply before you answer..
    It is religion of Islam.
It is the religion that Mohammad-peace upon him- the last prophet, had been sent by.
It is the religion that the right Bible- which is not distorted-has preached.
Just have a look at The Bible of (Bernaba).
    Don't be emstional.
    Be rational and judge..
Just look..listen...compare..and then judge and say your word.

  • posted a message on Culinary Arts Experience/Majors, please help!
I haven't frequented these forums in quite some time (Since before Lorwyn I think) but a recent procrastination of mine has caused me to seek help from a community I've been able to count on before. =)

I'm doing a research paper about the field of Culinary Arts in general, and am required to conduct an interview. Some of these might be questions that simple internet searching could get me, but for the most part I'm doing my best to ask questions that only someone with the experience in this field could tell me. I come here and ask for your help because theres a chance that my interview source (You, hopefully) might be confirmed via my teacher.

If you can answer my questions fully and with detail I'd be much appreciative; if I've put this in the wrong spot, my apologies. Or if none of you are able to help me in my endeavor and could maybe direct me to a place better suited for my inquiries I'd be much obliged. Thank you all very much.

    1. people think 'Chef', and 'Head Chef', and they think cooks and leadership; besides those, what are some of the different and varying responsibilities you've had in the work field?

    2. It's often said that the Job Market for someone with Culinary experience is a good one; Can you explain if this is true, or do you have personal experience that says otherwise?

    3. Did you attend a school of some sort for your degree/knowledge, or did you start out at a low position and get promoted? Would you rather have done it another way? Why?

    4. Around 8% of all head chefs and executive chefs in the United States are self-employed; in your training or work experience, were you taught any of the skills required to become self-employed? What were some of these skills?

And that's all I have. If you have an issue with the way I worded any of my questions, please let me know, and I'll see if I can't find a different way of asking what I'm curious about. And please, please, tell me anything else about your experiences that your willing to part with, more information is always welcomed! The only reason I stopped short with 4 questions is that in the hopes of detailed answers, that's all I'll need. Again, thank you all for taking your time to read this and if you can, please respond as quickly as possible! All due by Sunday night, 12:00 AM. Smile

Today, I learned that cracking a foil Baneslayer is a good way to get back into Standard.

I also learned that I've been using the same login information for too long, because I was able to login to the MTGSalvation forums on the first try.

Thanks. ^_^' I'll try the manual deletion and if that doesn't work I'll attempt Ad-Aware. I remember having it on our old computer, should have thought about it.

Update: So I was manually able to get rid of them, I'm rescanning again to see if things are all in order and such. Thanks for the help, and I'll come back if I need anymore help.

Ok, so using a freeware program I've discovered that I have a trojan tucked away in my computer. The program can't remove them, and I can't do it manually because the folder they're in doesn't show up, although, the Freeware Program says it's at

    C:\Documents and Settings\Nicholaus\Local Settings\Temp\(Insert File Name here)

I can only get as far as the folder 'Nicholaus', and I'm not computer savvy, so I'm not quite sure if I can get any farther, manually. I've downloaded a Trojan Scanner, when not being cursed by the Blue Screen of Death, and it's also found them, but doesn't really show me HOW to get rid of them. T.T

    Can anyone help?

I usually don't look at the spoilers if I'm certain I'm going to the pre-release...I like the surprise value; I don't go to win, I go to have fun. =)

Sam: I don't know about Rockband...Most of the songs seemed generally wayyy easier than those on Guitar Hero 3, or even 2. Expert wasn't really a challenge and Hard on drums wasn't even that hard for a first time. It just seems like a waste of money to me.

I've been a little busy lately with semester finals, which is why I haven't by avidly posting as much. But finals are over, and I did pretty well on most of them too.

Anyway, I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it to the prerelease. I'd like to, but money's an issue and I don't know if I'll be able to make it or not. I figure if I could save up some money then hopefully, but...

Gambit: I like the banner, very nice work. But the picture used for the Avatar kind of gives me the creeps; the text size and font is great, but that picture...Could you possibly use the head of the Griffin instead? I also think it'd look good with the same kind of border you used in the banner. Thanks a bunch!

But it's terribly fun to win with terrible cards, isn't it? I used to have a janky Sky Swallower/Donate Deck with brand and stuff. People really dislike dieing to crappy cards. So I'd imagine that death by Jokulmorder would suck even more.

Phyrexian: I'd imagine you could probably get your store to do that kind of thing, for next year anyway. I mean, prizes would be the only part that would actually require some thought.
