The salt in wounds is that heroes & fantasies with FNM is located on the outskirts of town near an air force base and their singles are overpriced. It's not a good time to be a magic player in San Antonio.

I forgot to add they did four rounds of swiss, then broke to top 16. whats up with that?

back on topic, I'm very glad that the shop I play at doesn't happen to be sneaky about prize payouts. granted, my pet peeve when it comes to prize payouts was a few years back, at a different store. they would give out pity packs, and it would reduce the amount of packs for everyone, both to buy and to win.

I never said I hated this site- in fact, I loved it until I found the typical mod with super powers (so he/she thinks) -- so keep the infractions coming until you can get through your thick skulls that the opening post bashed 3 stores, openly naming 2 of the owners- and if you think that I've cross the boundaries of rules or terms, well that's just funny to me. But don't worry, you won't see me on this forum again. You people have no moral ethics or comprehension skills; well, most of you.

Come to my shop and you will find that it is nothing like it was described in the first bash-- errr, post.

Oh, and Annorax, i'm being perfectly civil- perhaps a bit frustrated at the ignorance that abounds. Perhaps my intelligence level is just beyond the majority of people on here, such as the ones who don't read a thread, in full, before posting their irrelevant thoughts. Also, our store has been in business for 17 years, and the fact that you doubt our customer base numbers is baffling- If i'm acting the way you and others are saying I am- then so are you my non-friend, so are you. Arrogance is spreading from the thread poster, so on that note, and to avoid any further damage to my IQ- have a nice life.

--- AGAIN: We don't disallow trading, but we don't appreciate people coming to tournaments in which they don't participate, and are only there for the sole purpose of trading and basically being a nuisance and interrupting the flow of the tournament.

I am the son of Joan Shamas, and Co-Owner of Cards and Crafts, all I have to say is -- how about you stop on in tomorrow and have a word with me; in person. This is not a threat, but your misconceptions about our store and the audacity of you to post this thread bashing not only our store, but two other main stores in San Antonio is just beyond me. Who do you think you are? Do you run a store? Would you like it if someone came into your store and stole all of your business by setting up their cards in such a fashion as to take away said business from the store owners, which, inevitably would end up in that store shutting down?

We don't allow people to come in to our store and trade, when they don't support our store in the least- and on top of that, talk bad about us (could this be someone like you?! I think so!). It has nothing to do with us not getting a cut of the action. We don't mind trading, in fact, so long as it doesn't get in the way of our business. For instance, if we are negotiating a sale with someone, and a person comes up and says "oh, I have that card, would you like to look at my trade binder and see if we can trade instead?" -- that puts us out.

Also, we have no trouble getting enough people for our FNM and other tourneys. We may not always have 40+ players, but we're holding our own, we have a loyal customer base of 6,000+ people/players, and YOU DON'T OWN A SHOP, so you don't know how a shop should be run, you only think you know. By the way, your whole topic of discussion (this thread full of bashing) is also inappropriate to say the least.
