MTG Salvation

Yes the rumors were true. I went to Gamescom in Cologne this past weekend as a North American Rep for a certain company and this is the stuff I received from the MTG booth. The business section was only open Wed.-Fri. so I had Saturday and Sunday to just walk around and randomly check in at our booth in the gaming center. MTG was there to promote the M15 Duels of the Planeswalkers, and once you stand in line for about 20-30 minutes, you play about 5 minutes of the new Duels of the Planeswalkers game on an iPad or Laptop, and then proceed your way through the booth to collect free stuff. If you are a true beginner, an MTG rep would sit down with you and play a game using the sample decks that contain 30 presorted cards ready for play, including one rare. All in all, you get an English Chandra's Fury (Says www.MagicTheGathering.com in elegant print where flavor text would be.), an English Stealer of Secrets (Says www.MagicTheGathering.com in elegant print where flavor text would be.), a random ENGLISH (for some reason, even though it is in Germany) sample deck (I got the Green one with Terra Stomper as the rare), a pic from the MTG Photo stand that goes to their FB or Twitter page, and an inflatable estimated 14" tall Garruk axe. The Garruk axe is probably the best thing haha. On the plus side though, I did buy a German M15 box and pulled a Garruk, and a Foil Jace, and actually received a German sample deck when I bought the box. The box was not purchased at the MTG booth. On a side note, most of the promos, posters, and shirts that most booths were giving out and selling were in English.
