Hello everyone, todasy was PTQ-Lima and i played TEPS! I went pretty well, missing the top8 due to bad luck.
    Here's my deck:
    Match 1: Zoo
g1 i win easily with tendrils for 6 (he had taken 9 damage from lands)
sb: -2 chromatic speheres +2 slaughter pact
g2 i mulliganed to 5... he plays gaddock tegg second turn, vindicate on mi sulfur vent third turn and ancient grudge on my lotus blomm after it resolved on fourth turn...
g3 i mulliganed to 6. gaddock tegg 3rd turn... on my last alive turn y try to go off finding pact with peer into dephts but no pact appeared u.u

    1-2 games 0-1 matches

    Match 2: Psycheatog
g1 i win easily after he tapped to play tog
sb: -3 chromatic speheres +3 pact of negation
g2 he trickbinds mi desire for 7 and i showed justa a mox
g3 he trickbinds mi desire again but i had mana on the pool to play wish for empty and made 18 tokens ftw

    3-3 games 1-1 matches

    match 3: U/G tron
g1 he repeals lotus and i got stuck on two lands, when the same lotus came into play he repeals it again, i go off with desire for 5 but nothing showed up
sb: -3 chromatic speheres +3 pact of negation
g2 he repeals the lotus, i try to go off, he counters a seething song but i have pact, desire for 7.. gg
g3 no counters on his side, won on turn 4.

    5-4 games 2-1 matches

    Match 4: B/G deathcloud
g1 i mulligan to 6, he plays thoughtseize turn one but i drawed everyting i needed, he plays a tarmo, y made desire for 6 next turn.. gg
    no sb
g2 he starts with duress duress but i had 2 lotuses and a land, went off the turn both lotuses entered play with a desire for 9 and won.

    7-4 games 3-1 matches

    Match 5: mono red burn

g1 he mullians to 5 and only plays one land.
    no sb
    g2 i was faster XD

    9-4 games 4-1 matches

At this point, if i faced an opponent with 12 points, we would have made ID to enter the top 8 but...
    I was paired with a 11-points guy

    Match 6: Aggro loam

possibly the worst match up in history (along with flow rock)
g1 he plays tarmo 2nd turn and chamileon colossus 3rd, then wishes for red dreams... plays it. y deathamrked the tarmo and on the next turn had to go off for 4. had bbb on mana pool and a tendrils in hand... all i needed was a ritual, desire showed plunge, 2peer (which showed nothing ¬¬ all i needed was a cabal ritual on this case) and mox.
g2 the same as g1 but i had lotus... he made dreams for 3 but i had a lot of lands, he played cabal therapy nailing my desire. On my last turn y needed a tutor but couldnt find one

    9-7 games 4-2 matches

    I finished 14th.

IMHO TEPS is a VERY VERY good choice to play, only that u have to play it GOOD, no mistakes. the deck is solid and wins almost every match.
    Hope this helps!! :D:D

I dont get why u run ancient spring. could u please tell us why? and btw maybe 16 land is a little too much. try 15 and include tinder farm and irrigation ditch instead of that springs...

The other TEPS did not finished 9th, he finished with 10 points way behind. (omegaX tu eres carlos no? siempre me confundo con los hermanos sayayin) in the last round the other TEPS player was paired against aggro loam. The match was 1-1. He made desire for 8 and fizzled... that is the history of TEPS players in PTQ Yokohama, Lima... we were not meant to win

    Hello everyone
Here'smy report from PTQ Yokohma that took place here in Lima. Obv i played TEPS
    Round 1-- Against Gifts-Tron
G1. I went with one sulfur vent and two duress. I knew what he was playing so it was a regular hand. I just needed another land or a lotus to go off (i had everyting else in hand -wish, riteS and moxes) i duressed him twice taking thirst and decree of justice, leaving him with lands, engineered explosives and wrath. he had the tron, unfortunately. next turn, he topdecked thirst and i never saw another land. GG
G2. probably the best game i've played in my short career. Got 18 goblins, attack. he was on two, he played slaver but i survived, then he played gifts an i made the very best choise. GG
    1-1
    0/0/1
    Round 2 --- Raffnity
wow a nice match... there are occassions that a deck does not want u to win. my first hand was 1 sulfur vent, 1 gemstone mine, 1 lotus bloom, 1 rite of flame, 1 chrome mox, 1 infernal tutor and 1 plunge into darkness. I obv went with that hand... i drew 3 lands on my next three draws. that ment i couldnt play infernal tutor cause i always kept a land i hand. i tried plunge for 6 an nothing... not even a desire or a wish. i was going to lose next turn so GG
G2. ... pretty much the same. YES THE SAME.... it is impossible but it happens...
    0-2
    0/1/1
    Round 3. Tooth
    Another nice matchup.
G1. I was on the draw. i played land and two lotus but he played tooth on turn four. GG
G2. land, two lotus again. duressed him on the right turn. Desire for 9. GG
G3. no lotus this time. duressed him twice. hit a trinisphere!! damn if he drew another... he drew witness -.- played trinisphere. he began attacking me, but i defeated him =D with 4 saclands, seething songx2 played a mox paying 3, imprinted duress. played cabal ritual x2, Desire. Had 8 mana in pool. Revealed wish, played it for tendrils. He had taken damage from a dual and several Fetchlands. GG (BtW i played tutor and plunge in order to get the second seething song and th second cabal ritual)
    2-1
    1/1/1
    Round 4. The Rock
    WHY???
G1. Nice hand. he had the critters but no discard. i duresed him the turn before my lotus entered play. he had one land in hand. next turn i was going to win but he drew putrefy -.- damn.... Since i was going to lose next turn (he was beating me with a baloth and two 2/2, which names in english i dont remember) i tried empty to resist. i saw more of his deck. GG
G2. Ok, what happens if a guy duresses u twice and therapies u FOUR TIMES; and u are playing TEPS? man, thats 6+ cards. (meanwhile, he was hitting with a baloth...) GG
    2-0
    1/2/1
i could have played the next runds but i didnt really wanted to, so i dropped
By the way,the top 8 was
    2 trinket tog
    1 heartbeat desire
    2 raffinity
    1 U/B tog
    2 Aggro loam
    The trinket tog won.
    My thoughts
when the deck is not on the same side as u, u cannot win
By the way, my decklist is on previous pages
    see ya guys

Ok thanks for the quick response!

Say my opponent plays Shivan Wumpus. When it comes into play, i sac a land so that it goes onto the top of my opps library. In response he casts Momentary Blink on his wumpus so that my land-sacrifice does not work. Is this possible? I think that since i already sac'd a land the wumpus goes directly to the top of his library because the triggered ability is resolving.
    Who's right?

Ahhh that's why his responses were so rude...
By the way, i think that fire//ice is not needed. duress is much better! about the death wish, well, it depends on the meta. since here there is a lot of aggro and burn playing death wish is suicidal

Thanks guys, i will follow the suggestion of using COV an another EtW, after all the money i have spent on buying moxes and wishes i think that is the best solution :p
Really, duress maindeck are MVP fo my meta, i've seen a few aggro loams and heartbeats as well so that little discad outlet should give me the win.
by the way, the aggro here is a little different, i mean, instead of a lot of boros i will find monored and elves :s but the good players will play the real boros an zoo. (although the 50% of players her are quite random).

no, my ptq is 18th february, planar chaos is not legal yet
by the way, the duress maindeck are IMO very good. although there a lo of aggro here, there will also be a lot of TEPS, so i think that with duress maybe i have a little advantage

hello, i have built this deck for the ptq here in Lima

Im very confident about the deck, i really dont want to change anything on the maindeck, and i wont, by the way. i have only one question. i hav three missing slots on the SB, which cards do u recommend me? not orim's chant, its too expensive, not defense grid, dont have them... and here the meta is 0 control and full of aggro, and aggro is my best matchup.
    suggestions please!!??
    thanks!

I'm pretty sure that they will do magus of the heartbeat for green and magus of the opposition for blue....

    Hello, i have two questions:
1.- Let's say i play brain freeze with a storm count of 4. There is a chalice of the void in play set to counter spells with cmc of 2. i know that the original spell is countered, but, are the copies countered? What´s the cmc of the copies?
2.- Let's say i play mind's desire and reveal a lotus bloom. Now, can I play the lotus bloom so that effectively comes into play and i can tap it, sac it and ad three mana?

    Thnks!!!!

The red akromas are everywhere. in my prerelease, on a 6-man table, three friends opened one... not counting the other akromas on the rest of the field
