Sorry if this seems like a ramble and somewhat incoherent but just want to give some back story so it may help whom ever may be willing to give some advice.
Ok so I have home group we play every couple weeks (some number of us) and we have around 6 tournaments a year. Usually all day and I try to make them into events...of some sort and made up formats with a lot of restrictions as we have a wide range of player skill sets and it seems to level the playing field pretty effectively. Coming up we have a Halloween magic/ costume party. The idea is two teams marvel and DC paired against each other in a series of duals. The scoring is as follows
3 rounds- 2 points a win=6possible
costume judged 1-6 points
deck construction judged 1-6 points
(deck restriction is traditional rules and set but the cards must be themed oriented to go with the hero/villain your dressed as, example I am ghost rider using cards such as hell rider, blasphemous act, signed in blood, devils play grave crawler reassembling skeleton things that has a feel or in the spirit of your character)
so the 2 highest scores will face off for the championship.
As I am kind of the unofficial MTG coordinator of the group I am tasked with helping build decks for the wives mostly lol...
Now I've told you all this just to ask you this I am stuck on Scarlet Witch and not sure where to go....mind you my card resources are only from innistrad up , couple cards I am looking at, unexpected results, the names fits perfectly and the spell but I hate the colors just can't find how to get them to work with in scarlet witch....epic experiment...not crazy about the name but again the randomness of the card is great and gives me access to red. other then cards that can do random things I just don't know how to build anything around the ability of scarlet witch...which is throwing (hexes) that sometimes back fires or various results...any suggestions would be so appreciated or maybe even explaining her ability better if there is someone that is familiar with her.....thanks for any time or thought spent on this
