Consuming Rage 1RR
Sorcery
If sources you control dealt 12 or more damage to target opponent this turn, that player loses the game. Otherwise, ~ deals 3 damage to that player.
The problem with the paradox is that you're applying "better" and "worse" concepts where they don't really belong. "Better" for whom? "Worse" for which purpose? Those aren't defined at all here. Until a rigorous definition of what is better is brought up, the paradox can't even be scientifically discussed.
Choosing to lynch SorryGuy over Mosschop was probably the town's shining moment as far as reasoning.
Yes, and it only took the combined role-info of three players (arimnaes RB, Mosschop counterclaim, Jobie "dangerous" result) to browbeat the rest of the town into making the correct decision!
Also, there was the rianalln lynch, which was in effect a one-man crusade by bateleur (I still don't understand btw why bat chose to crusade against him, but I can't argue with success).
I can't help but feel that the town's victory is somewhat undeserved. Of the 5 mafia, 2 fell to crosskills, 1 was modkilled, and 1 was hit by a completely random investigation. Only one mafia member was actually lynched by the town. And kops was probably doing fine until his claim. With a better claim, he could've easily survived at least one more day. Unfortunately, "I don't know what my role does" doesn't inspire too much confidence on day five.
Sissy (from J&SB Strike Back) - AbbeyGargoyle – You and your friends are walking, talking bad girl clichés. You are very, VERY close to each other – so close, in fact, that you can communicate with your friends at night. You, Missy (InfintyCubed), and Chrissy (Alx) work on the side of the town. I will let you all know up front that the last group to kill a member of your group will receive an extra piece of information that will be very helpful. If the town offs you by lynch, this information will be made available in the thread. If a townie uses an individual ability to off you, this information will be sent directly to that player via PM. If the mafia offs you, a PM will be sent to all mafia members. You may or may not choose to reveal this ability. It is not necessary that it remain a secret. Feel free to discuss it amongst yourselves. Your group wins when the town wins.
So, what was the information? The curiosity is killing me!
Fun trivia: by the time kops replaced into 24 mafia, I was already 100% certain he's the SK who killed me in this game. Lynching him in 24, thus, in addition to helping my side win, was highly satisfying on a personal level.
I was pretty sure I was going to get it in the neck night 3, but I wasn't allowed to switch stuff targetting me. If I was, my choice was absolutely going to be Alx and me (I ended up doing Alx and FO I think, in case I got lucky and switched a roleblock onto the mafia kill or something).
Actually, the question of whether you can redirect the kill away from yourself was a big topic in our night discussion. Eventually we decided that, for reasons of game balance, you shouldn't be able to.
The great Final is here: Zith vs. Ripe_With_Things2Say.
This is your jury:
1. Mr. FattyChubCakes - executed in Round 4 by Zith
2. Myrf - executed in Round 2 by Zith
3. Zchinque - executed in Round 6 by qtiplord
4. glurman - executed in Round 3 by qtiplord
5. Beaker - executed in Round 5 by Zchinque
6. qtiplord - executed in Round 7 by Zith
7. Twilightmancer - executed in Round 1 by Ripe_With_Things2Say
Each jury member may vote for either finalist by posting Vote <name>. Votes are unretractable. You have exactly one week to vote. If, after that time, the vote is tied*, I will cast the deciding vote. Feel free to discuss, debate, lobby, and otherwise politicize in the meanwhile.
*Obviously it can't be tied if everyone votes. Which is why participation is important!
Out of curiosity, who would the mafia have targeted for the NK last night? In order for us to get to tomorrow, I had to hit mafia (and apparently, not the GF) plus the Mafia had to target me (and hence fail the NK attempt). That would have put as at 3 Town, 2 Mafia for Day 4.
You mean that in addition to having a roleclaim that made you 100% lynchproof, you were also unnightkillable!?

On this site, I've been in Newb 10, View Askew, and 24. In all three I was above-average as far as activity goes.

The thread is now open for general discussion of the game.
RWT2S: 3 (Myrf, MFC, Qtip)
It's not over till the fat lady sings.
In other words, "I don't have the time to lie to people as a hobby, I need to do it for a living".
Good luck with your new job, AG!
