The only thing it's really missing is a second black-flavoured ability. Far from being bizarre, I would say this is one of the most promising designs yet in terms of showing the NN actually learning waht goes into making a magic card.
Yeah, this definitely is achieving what I hoped it would, which is promising.
You know, at this point, I almost think it's almost ready for some hands-on testing, haha. Like a cube draft or something. We generate a massive set of cards and have an algorithm select a subset so that there's a balance across types, colors, mana costs etc. Then print it out and play with it. We may have to have some special rule about dropping or rewording nonsense cards so that they're at least minimally functional (it would be good to keep a permanent marker on hand). It'd probably be an absolutely unpredictable mess, but hey, it's a step in the right direction.
Still sounds better than Homelands and Fallen Empires to me!
I didn't include the rarity because it was on the render but I know that's not an excuse. I also realized that Bushido shouldn't have been spelled out for the second ability after submitting the design while not being able to edit it. Overall the judging seems perfectly fair, thanks Bravelion

Planeswalker - Kentaro
+1: Untap up to one target creature. That creature gains vigilance until end of turn.
-2: Until your next turn, whenever a creature you control blocks or becomes blocked, it gets +2/+2 until end of turn.
-5: Each noncreature permanent you control becomes a 2/2 white Samurai creature with indestructible and bushido 2 until end of turn.

I would just like to add that after a little more testing a few random lists, i discovered this deck cannot win against tron. Any sudeboard recs for it?
The best answers to Tron that are not Blood Moon (since it hurts our mana base just as much) are Ghost Quarter and Fulminator Mage.
This is the greatest thread in the history of this forum. Bravo, OP. Bravo, R-Shig.
Now we just need some sort of random art generator to give these hilarious abilities some equally hilarious flavor.
The Wolfram Alpha team is working on image identification software, so if you filter images to match the creature type(s) of a randomly generated card the process becomes reliable.
Any chance someone can center the text on Arnoftuee, a la Murder? I smell my first ever new avatar... (Seriously amazing job. I also find it hysterical that a card with art that evocative an such a cryptic function wouldn't have flavor text.)
Freaking amazing. Thank you! What do you use to generate these renders, and where you get the art? (I think these are all arts from actual cards, but I can't think of which ones, and where did you get just the art to fit into the frame?)
I use Magic Set Editor 2 and none of the art is on existing cards.
I will be trying out this deck at FNM as soon as I can grab hold of the Orchards and Toshiros, but that might take a long time. I guess this is an opportunity to iron out a solid list so I know exactly what to get.
Right, enchantments are a thing... I retract my statement.
