Hi, is it possible to delete a post from a thread that's been locked? Or can I get a mod's help deleting some old posts? Thanks.

Oh man. I just printed proxies of this and the Hedron then did a draft tonight. Got both. Picked up a lot of other great artifact ramp (Tolarian Academy, Thran Dynamo, Gilded Lotus). Maybe the most unfair cube deck I've ever played. The double vindicate is very nice. The exile 20 was often an immediate win (I had stuff like memory jar to get their library even smaller). One of my new favorite cube cards. Also, just a beautiful looking card, which is nice.

Ah, thanks for the info, all. Didn't know just how distinct the clash pack versions could be.

Are the clash pack Windswept Heaths printed differently from the Khans one? Bought a few and they looked off to me. Artist symbol is the most notable (as well as the fuzziness of the border line above the artist and set info). Corners and dot patterns and coloring differ a bit. I'm thinking the holo stamp looks good, so they're likely real (to my knowledge, no one's reproduced that yet). But I just wanted to make sure and to find out why they look different, since at first glance, the printing on the ones I bought looks much sloppier to me.

It's definitely worth considering since, as you mentioned, it does so much against a variety of different decks. It's almost never really a dead card, tbh. (even the regeneration can become crucial during some matchups.)

Yeah. Thinking back, I may have actually boarded it in every single round. Will probably try 1 main at the next smaller legacy event.

Interesting. My initial reaction was I don't like ooze main, since it's not like it helps out our worst match-ups, and if you get it early where it's not good, then you won't be happy about it. But I guess it's not bad to just have another threat that can also deal with graveyards. I play that list with the 3rd bolt over ooze. Considering taking out that bolt for a golgari charm main perhaps, though. I like having the third bolt. But I sided charm in so much today, and it can be pretty nice to be able to do so many things (kill enchantments, kill elves, kill true-name, kill D&T guys, etc.). It may not save you against a bad combo matchup (though I imagine it's not the worst thing to blow up a sneak attack or omniscience, even if sometimes it just buys you a turn (and sometimes does more than that)), but it may be all around more helpful than another bolt. Unsure.

Also just played in SCG LA but did not get 9th. 5-4 put me a round off top 64 (if my breakers would've even put me there at 6-3). Lost to burn, omni show, some beautiful draws by Death & Taxes (not to diminish his own role in his victory; he played well), and a very close MUD matchup. Beat Stoneblade, Miracles, BUG delver, BUG delver, Sneak n' Show.

I keep trying to change my location to "Los Angeles, CA" but it keeps changing back to what it was before (a joke that it had been set as for a few years). It changed back on its own at least four times. I just changed it again, so maybe it'll be fine now.

    Some of my latest alters:

    references:
    Mana Drain by Hajime Sorayama
Griselbrand by chaoyuan xu for Legends of the Cryptids
    Breeding Pool from WoW
Elesh Norn Legends of the Cryptids

Whoa. Your post compelled me to comment. Your photobucket is kind of the best collection of altered cards I've ever seen. Just looked through a bit of it, and I'm especially diggin' the Elesh Norns, Griselbrands, and Emrakul I saw. The details+ stylization of text and card frame are really impressive, as well as unique. And the original arts are fantastic as well. Nice work, man.

Thanks for the suggestions. I also recently watched Being John Malkovich and I enjoyed that. So anything like that is good as well.

Then if you haven't yet, definitely check out more Charlie Kaufman films: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Adaptation, Synecdoche NY (kind of a love it or hate it film).

Definitely figure; there aren't that many great 1 drops other than this in t2 right now (a few, but not many). Also, Condemn isn't a one drop, it's a one mana spell.

Besides the green fatties that have been suggested, I also run Cloudthresher and Silvos, Rogue Elemental. I recommend both.

Did no one mention Knight of the White Orchid? It's quite good.

White has good two drops right now, especially if you're playing kithkin. All red has at the moment is stigma lasher, which is overrated.

Venture Brothers and Frisky Dingo have to be the top two best for me.
Frisky Dingo is one of those stupid-funny cartoons, they have so many good quotes I want to use but never come across a conversation where it'd work.
...I'm tempted to just make a Frisky Dingo Quotes thread in here. "BOOSH!"

I've been waiting for an opportunity to use "Y'know, I am a racist, but you have won me over."

Maybe stupid idea, But what about using dragon fodder on turn two, giving you two 1/1 gobbie tokens. turn three you sac them to the devour three guy and on turn three you have a 7/7 for 3cc......turn four, soul's flame (Or is it soul's fire) for 7 damage, or take a creature out with it, and come over for 7......im going to be testing it....especially since you could sac that mogg fanatic that didnt happen to do anything early game, along with the other 2 gobbies to make a 10/10 on turn three for 3cc.....soul's fire ten damage to player or creature anyone?

Gogo 3 card combos that don't win the game! Dragon fodder is inefficient on its own, you won't always have small creatures for the devour guy (2R 1/1... Seems good? Uh...) and Soul's Fire does nothing if you don't have a big creature.
