Thanks for the response! And yea I'm not sure what to do about the MDFCs :\ they seem like they would really power up the cube but they take up so much space. I do like that idea of mana dork into 3 drop beater identity! I'll be looking forward to if you implement it.

Do you think you have a high enough density of low CMC green creatures for aggro?
Experiment One, Hexdrinker, Kessig Prowler, Pelt Collector, Wolfbitten Captive, Dryad Militant, Wild Nacatl, and Warden of the First Tree are only eight 1-drops, and there aren't many aggressive 2-drops either.

Also when can we expect to see your ZNR picks?

    Best wishes!

According to the Dominara leak, there's supposed to be a 5/4 for GGG that can't be blocked by creatures with CMC power 2 or less

What do you guys think of the UB version? I'm currently thinking of building that one over the standard version just because I don't have the money for the mana base :\

black blue is fine. my only concern with blue in modern is what will you use to discard any hulks that you draw in your hand?

Collective Brutality is the best choice, a powerful card on its own as it shores up the Burn matchup, and is good disruption vs their disruption. It plays a different role than Faithless looting but I'm trying to fit more of it into my Grixis version

Grafdigger's Cage and Pithing Needle. I really wish they would reprint Carrion Feeder for Modern so we could run one of those instead of the 3rd Seer, Pithing Needle is so annoying to deal with.

Managed to 4-0 the other night OMG haven't played the deck in a while but my friend was borrowing my Company deck and I thought this would be fun to try out. Had a good time, a lot of my opponents and people watching were just like LOL THIS DECK or WHAT AM I PLAYING AGAINST and we all had a good laugh about the Tier 3.5 glass cannon taking it all the way.

I think the only interesting choice I have is Thragtusk instead of Grave Titan, ever since I lost because I combo-d out with Titan but died the next turn, I decided that I'd rather gain life than have a bigger beater.

Forgive me since this tournament was two weeks ago so I've forgotten a lot of details.

    Round 1: Naya Burn
Win the die roll, honestly just really lucky game 1, he gets me down to 3 and misses his land drop otherwise I would've been dead but I combo out the next turn. I bring in Thragtusk and two Leylines, taking out 2 Schemings since they're too slow and Mogg Fanatic. He doesn't draw his RIP and I end up reanimating Thragtusk to get me a turn or two before I combo out.

    1-0, 2-0

    Round 2: U/W Draw-Go
Win the die roll, the guy puts me on Grixis after T1 Delta, Steam Vents, Serum Visions. He kinda talks a lot which I'm fine with but he definitely wasn't focused on the game because of his constant chatter as I escalate Collective Brutality and discard Protean Hulk, he snaps off a Mana Leak and I'm able to Footsteps T3. I bring in Boseiju, Thragtusk, Echoing Truth, and some other stuff that I don't remember, taking out Steam Vents, Fanatic, and SSGs I believe. I forget how Game 2 goes but he keeps chattering and I 2-0

    2-0, 4-0

    Round 3: Esper Draw-Go
Win the die roll I think? Pretty chill game opponent and I talk but are focused. I'm not under pressure so I'm aiming to sculpt a hand before he has too many counters up, I draw into a Pact so I Footsteps on the next turn, he counters I Pact and I'm able to combo out. This time I leave in Mogg Fanatic cuz I'm greedy but bring in the same stuff, cutting the same stuff. I think there was a number of Steel Sabatoge or Spell Pierce I brough it? He sticks a Leyline and I'm like what kind of Esper player plays Leyline (jk we chill) so I just draw and draw and discard, finally get what I need into the graveyard and draw into my Echoing Truth, use Boseiju to EoT bounce his Leyline and then combo out. Definitely leaned on the opponent not being 100% what my deck did as he was greedy and a.) didn't stick RIP to keep his Snaps live (thinking Leyline was enough) and b.) not Ghost Quartering my Boseiju.

    3-0, 6-0

    Round 4: U/G Infect
Opponent knows what I'm on and I know he's either BG or UG Infect. "Two ships passing in the night" as he describes it although the games definitely didn't turn out that way. Game 1 we do our thing, he Gitaxian Probes me and sees I have nothing so he has lethal on the next turn, I topdeck a Footsteps for the win. One thing of note is that I switched out Darkslick Shores for Spirebluff Canal since I hadn't played this deck since before KLD, and I had kept a 1 lander with Canal and Looting that let me get more lands, whereas Darkslick wouldn't have done it. Opponent is the first person to not make me execute the combo which is pretty cool. I bring in Darkblast, Echoing Truth, Murderous Cut, Spell Pierce, Steel Sabatoge, Pyroclasm and Pithing Needle? I took out Schemings on the draw and some more stuff I can't remember. I think the Pacts went out? He sticks a T1 Pithing Needle on Seer Frown and I get choked on black mana so I can't keep using my Darkblast in conjunction with Murderous Cut, he gets me to 9 infect as I kill off his creatures, he ends up getting there with Dryad Arbor beats as I Muderous Cut the Glistener Elf and realize I can't Echoing Truth the Dryad Arbor. Game 3, I think I brought back a Scheming and took out some stuff I didn't find useful like Pyroclasm (whoops) Pithing Needle (whoops). He sticks a Pithing Needle again and is winning, but I manage to kill his first Blighted Agent and Makeshift Mannequin a Reveillark to block his Inkmoth Nexii. I start beating down with Protean Hulk and Reveillark, then at some point he has a Blighted Agent out, Dismember in hand (don't remember how I saw it, probs Brutality) and two Nexii, I have Reveillark, Protean Hulk, and Mogg Fanatic. He casts Spellskite using both his Nexii, I trigger Mannequin and sac my Fanatic to shoot my Protean Hulk, fetch out Body Double to get a second Reveillark, he's now at 7 facing 8 in the air with now fliers and I take the win. I think he could have won if he didn't tap out both Nexii but I guess that's how it goes.
    4-0, 8-1

Sorry for missing details, it was a while ago and I was too lazy to type it up then.

The deck is a lot of fun, and with the GGT ban hopefully Grafdigger's Cage and RIP become less prominent. One weakness as you all know is just the variety of hate you face, Leyline, Pithing Needle, RIP, and Cage necessitating you to bring in stuff like Spell Pierce or Swan Song to deal with RIP, and then Steel Sabatoge for Needle/Cage, and Echoing Truth for Leyline. I've found that Echoing Truth has been an allstar catchall, being able to deal with Leyline or Needle or Cage, and also once when I bounced both his Angel tokens so I could fly in with Reveillark for the win so I think I'll probably go up on the count. I think my deck's sideboard is a mess as you can only bring in so many cards before you really dilute the consistency so I still need to balance that. I don't regret cutting Titan for Thragtusk so far as I've gotten by on Reveillark and Hulk beats pretty decently, they're fatties and when they get killed they get more fatties so even though Grave Titan is a better plan B than Thragtusk beats, I think you'll lose more games from not gaining infinite life under pressure vs creating Zombies. Collective Brutality is an interesting card, very versatile and great in the starting hand, not as good of a topdeck sometimes though so still playing around with it, might try more. Taigam's Scheming is really powerful, digging 5 deep for both answers and combo pieces, however it definitely is quite slow. Pact of Negation has been great quite frequently and I like it so far, might go down to 2 for another Lightning Axe or Brutality if I expect more creatures and less control. I think our control matchup is quite good with Pacts and Boseiju, also the lack of pressure as we sculpt our hand helps a ton, mainly just afraid of RIPs/Extractions which will hopefully become less prominent.

For what to take out, I generally take out Simian Spirit Guides if I don't need the explosiveness, and Schemings if I'm under a ton of pressure. Guides have felt good so far, they are cuttable from the main but I really like having them and don't think I'd want less than 4. Obviously take out Pacts and Axe if you don't think you'll need them.

So yeah, thanks for reading, hopefully that helped Smile

Building the cube right now, there's no way I'd be able to afford the super rare stuff so I'm buying chinese proxies for the power + duals + $100+ stuff but itss not too bad acquiring the other stuff, especially if you play Modern and you need Snaps/stuff anyways

Do you still do 90 cards for Sealed, or do you think it's better to have more synergistic decks with more cards in the pool?

Also not that important, but Eternal Dragon is listed under Instants on CubeTutor

Any guess on when you'll post a list of potential additions to the Conspiracy module?
Also do you ever do Sealed for fun where everyone gets 90 cards?

I wanted to ask for an opinion on the matchup with certain decks: UWx control decks (I know there's a variety, from tap out Wall/Finks/Titan to draw go), Abzan Company, and beatdown decks like Bant Eldrazi or Dredge. I've shelved Storm for a long time but as the meta's shifted, nobody at my store plays Burn or GBx anymore so I'm thinking it might be ok to play now depending on these matchups.

On this note, shouldn't I play Thragtusk over Grave Titan in the sideboard? Grave Titan is hard castable but you really don't want to do that, and you can do the same Grave Titan combo with Thragtusk, except you gain infinite life while you're at it so you're not victim to burn/islandwalk etc.

Had a bit of a bad beat, had the Footsteps in hand, Protean Hulk in the grave I draw for turn, Mogg Fanatic. With only 3 lands I can only go for the Grave Titan combo but I pass with infinite Zombies and he burns me out, if only I hadn't draw the Mogg Fanatic Frown
