I started playing standard with mono white. Yeah yeah, it isn't a greattt color. But hey. It's life gain is fun.
Anyways. I think this card is expensive. But worth it. Giving everything +2 and lifelink? Cool. It is going to be hard. Wasting a turn to cast this card, (not exactly wasting..) but then spending another 6 mana to get the lifegain? It's hard. I'm going to try.
As a huge artifact player; playing affinity and an esper artifact commander deck, I really like any creature that allows artifacts to come in cheaper. However convoke is a trappp. But.. Giving all artifacts convoke? Not half bad. You'd have to play a very heavy artifact creature deck for it to work. Not very playable in standard.
Hmm. Actually alright in a token tribal deck. I think the convoke ability is very strong, not entirely in standard due to the tapped creatures, but in a tribal commander deck watch out. It's pretty good. I want it.
Hmm. For 4 mana you get to draw two cards and put one back; it's decent. And starting at 5 loyalty, I'm actually thinking the ultimate will actually be a big game changer in formats besides modern and legacy. Again the 5 loyalty keeps it away from the smaller burn spells, so I think he is a solid 4 drop. However the -3 doesn't seem very powerful, four mana for a return creature to their owners hand. I'm thinking that that will be used more often on the owner of the jace to return their own creature to their hand. I'm semi disappointed, but then again I haven't been a big Jace fan anyways.
Dangit!!! I was really really hoping that fetch lands would be reprinted. Of course they aren't going to be. Looks like I won't be making another modern deck till I get rich now.
Pain lands really aren't the best. Okay, yeah. They can tap for either of the two colors.. For a life. Decent because they can actually tap for colorless without getting hit unlike City of Brass and Mana confluence.

I obviously enjoy to play magic.
My favorite format is commander followed closely by modern.
I play an affinity deck and I really enjoy how aggro it is.
I started out playing standard, but didn't like how much money I spent constantly.
Hah, not that modern is any cheaper.
I also like to draw, wrestle, and snowboard on my free time.
