A New and Exciting Beginning

The End of an Era

I'm building myself an artifact deck based solely on, well, artifacts. Thought I'd look to get some insight on things I might have missed in the main and hopefully not so obvious pitfalls of the deck itself. I'll give a quick run through of the deck's ability to achieve the goal we all want, victory; before listing off all of the cards.

The deck being only artifacts of course comes with troubles; from the artifacts I saw when looking to build the deck they were either a) really *****, or b) amazingly good but my children will die before I have the mana for it. I took the latter and decided to try and circumvent that problem, pulling out high cost creatures for little mana. The main creature I'll focus on for now is Colossus of Akros. A formidable foe,Colossus of Akros has the power to end games the next turn. But costing 8 to pull out is not ideal, even for a 20/20 with trample, it will almost to a point in the game but the question is can you wait that long to get such a beast out onto the field? The short answer: no, of course not. So I turned to Quicksilver Amulet, a wonderful card that as should become apparent, will give you the power you want at half the price! A short sliver of what my deck will present and the main strategy combined with the Mirrorworks to throw out another one if I care to. I'll go over additional strategies at the end, but I'd like for all of you to probe the deck itself for large faults that are not going to be on the upcoming list. And here is said list:
    1. Artifcat Removal
    2. Exiling
    3. Negative counters/cards such as:Defang
    4. Cards that tap other creatures
    5. Unsummon cards

Now for the actual card list! Yay.
    1x Colossus of Akros
    2x Hall of Triumph
    3x Chronomaton
    2x Grindclock
    1x Gem of Becoming
    1x Grimoire of the Dead
    2x Narstad Scarpper
    2X Mirrorworks
    2x Elixir of Immortality
    2X Phyrexian Hulk
    1x Door to Nothingness
    1x Stuffy Doll
    3x Quicksilver Amulet
    2x Gold-Forged Sentinel
    1x Guardian of the Ages
    2x Strionic Resonator

Thar she blows! A fine deck if I'm to say anything. A note to the strategy, you'll notice that Hall of Triumph needs a color to work, which due to that shouldn't in an artifact deck with no color. But ah, using Grimoire of the dead any artifact creatures or and other creature for that matter come back from all graveyards as black, which allows me to chose black for Hall of Triumph and get a handy dandy bonus. Another mention is Door to Nothingness, strictly a card to end the game as the text would imply, it would be good I could imagine to surrmount any manner of foe the opponent has made that has somehow stopped some of the powerhouse creatures in this deck. Gold-Forged Sentinel is a great card for this deck since it adds flying which(unless I opted for Akroma's Memorial an amazing card but not to my liking)will help me fight those pesky angels or deal direct damage to ye old landlubbers. That is pretty much every major thing that I can tell you off the bat, so have at it. Your feedback really helps in building this deck!

    [Edit]
I did happen to forget the lands in that list. Nothing much really just a hodgepodge of all the basics have to offer. It should be noted though that there is one Cathedral of War although it is probably nothing worth robbing a bank for.
