So I am looking to get a few of my friends a graduation present and I was wondering what cards people might have in mind to give that go with the theme of graduating college. Currently, I just have New Frontiers.
Any ideas welcome!
So I am building a Bruna EDH deck (as you can hopefully see in my signature) and I am including auras and I am currently choosing between Indestructibility, Hyena Umbra, and Felidar Umbra. I can only choose one. First I have a "rulings" question about Indestructibility vs totem armor. Is there any situation in which totem armor can't do exactly the same thing as Indestructibility. Keep in mind that Bruna lets me get auras from graveyard so I am ignoring that component and obvious difference. Specifically I am concerned with the way the auras would render the creature not destroyed. Like does one offer any advantage over another (ignoring cmc and the destruction associated with totem armor) with regards to the prevent destruction effect, i.e. some specific scenarios?
My second question is in regards to choosing between Hyena Umbra and Felidar Umbra. My deck doesn't use life gain, but everyone loves gaining life. My deck is Voltron, and since Bruna is mainly going to be doing most of the work, I figured first strike would be better as it kills creatures before it can do any damage. Keeps my creature in better shape. Felidar umbra is cool because you can pay mana and attach it to another creature, but my deck is voltron and I run 13 creatures + Bruna. And Hyena Umbra gives +1/+1. I'm inclined to choose hyena umbra, but I would like to hear other opinions on which of these would be better in the event that totem armor is better than indestructibility. Thanks a bunch!
So I have made a few mistakes in my relationship. And my girlfriend and I both play magic. I'm just wondering if there are any cards, whether by title or flavor text that can act as "I'm sorry for ______". It's just a small gesture. Right now, I can think of [[Reparations]]. Thanks! All ideas welcome!
So I'm working on a deck I'm calling "The MillPlasm" which is basically themed around going infinite and winning in the least enjoyable ways for my opponents. Think of it as the ultimate socioplasm. Okay I'll stop the terrible puns. So what are some suggestions?
Not sure if this is the right place, but for the Tiny Leaders version of EDH, what are some infinite combos of any type? Also, what are some near infinite combos that are virtually infinite but realistically finite. Thanks!
So Tiny Leaders is a really cool format. I love it. But I don't get the lore that forces a planeswalker to limit its spells. I get color identity - that's been explained in a neat way as the commander focuses your aura. What about the 3cmc rule for tiny leaders?
So I'm looking for a commander whose role in a deck would simply be to stay in the command zone and only come in when it's time to combo out and win. I am not including Oloro, Ageless Ascetic or Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind as these guys are either banned or draw too much hate to be enjoyable in any setting. Any suggestions?
So my bro and I rarely get to play magic together since we're in different places, but I like the idea of having two decks, that when put together, can be unstoppable (like us), but are also independently strong enough. I'm basically trying to make synergy that can be used, but doesn't have to be used in order to have fun. For example, one guy in my cube has a $2,000+ EDH deck whose first turn is typically, land, sol ring, manavault, shu yun. Lots of people run Prophet of Kruphix or Bribery those who do use it. "Collusion" occurs quite frequently, although a better way to describe it is "kill Napoleon" because there's two guys that combo out by turn 6, one guy who just wins by turn 4 if you let him dredge on turn 2. And others can just combo out and win off of stupid ones, like Reveilark, Teysa, and some guy that produces tokens when dies. So, the spirit is "we are all enemies," do what you can to win at all costs. I'm really doing this more for sentimental reasons.

You can even name the decks
The deck who giveth
The deck who taketh away
So I like this idea, but maybe taketh away could mean life or some other green-oriented strategy. My bro loves his hydras and green colossuses.
So I actually was thinking about Zedruu the Greathearted for me. But what for my bro? He really likes green cards. Any commanders that would synergize well with Zedruu and have green?
So my brother and I were thinking of making complementary EDH decks and, more or less, support each other's deck in a multiplayer setting. Any advice for generals and/or strategies that could be combined together to form an unofficial team?
So these are all interesting. It's a shame Jeleva isn't foil. Animar is OP. So many choices. I don't want to copy Narset. I do like Kaho though. Are there more examples like her? Tutoring seems along the lines of "free play" as that's really what she does.
So by free, I'm wondering what commanders let you cast stuff for free. For example, one of my friends uses a Narset, Enlightened Master deck and it's pretty cool. But the thing I like most about it is that he can pretty much get free spells. It's got an element of chance as well as "free stuff" and it is something I was wondering was present in other commanders. It's tough to use Gatherer to search for a commander like Narset. Any suggestions?

I'm already considering the following:
Mind Shrieker + Basalt Monolith + Rings of Brighthearth
Hinder + Tunnel Vision
Any mill card with X +Basalt Monolith + Rings of Brighthearth
So it seems that I'd be doing a lot of mana ramping and then milling or maybe some infinite turns idk. Suggestions?
