I love that it's a mill card that is trying to be something else.
4 mana for an artifact to do 6 cards is decently costed, and it sometimes helps if you use blue steal stuff, and have the ability to force some life lose and/or poison counter game.
I'm not sure why there are so many random elements to the game that only decreases the element of skill.
Point of Order, some skill can come from managing randomness, but the turn system is kinda crazy, and I don't like the entire everything multiplied by 10.
has some tension with metal craft, but in the early/mid game, you will be throwing artifacts to kill stuff, and if you have any myr generation, it isn't that hard to get to metalcraft and keep it, even if some metal must be broken to broke creature face.
Can't wait to see what Steve's site will say about it. Steve is quickly becoming one of my favorite artists, if not for his skill, then certainly for his sense of humor.
Oh, yeah, he's freakin' awesome.
Seriously, does both official and parody MtG art. The Slave of Bolas parody art is pretty funny.
it's funny, because it is 1/3 of a charm.
Cenobite is not just a term used in Hellraiser, it also refers to a type of monks.
So consider it a multi-reference gag.

The 5 or so Phyrexian leaders who get quotes makes it more likely.
Also, I await a human Phyrexian to go with the elf one in the next two sets.
largly because it amuses me.
the lack of red phyrexians in SoM made it better, because then it didn't make white the IMMUNE TO EVIL color.
Myr..... don't count as either 3:
because damn, if it isn't elegant.
and it brings up the references to Akroma outside of Onslaught block to 3.
awesome.
The "must block" effect does nothing.
The Gorillas can't be blocked by only two creatures.
Dang, the only one I would have gotten.
Sweet as a trigger ally, not so good as one that's not.
Also, I suspect that the Gorgon is the last sister of stone death.

Nice to know that Steve Argyle did the Snuff Out w/ Liliana.
Not exactly sure the best way to deal with images and such, so I would have done the same as you.
Clearly, a creature is best if a deck archetype wins off it or does something silly with it.
But after cascade, War Monk is better, that that's kinda a given.
Also, given that a deck could run both, I don't think it's a interesting statement.
