Also three colour pairings allow for a great variety, in story and in gameplay. Thanks for posting this stuff.Posted in: Articles

That's a cute combo, but including recoup for that one trick seems a bit narrow IMO. I guess you have to weigh how many X spells you could Recoup to get the same output and synergy (that being like Animist's Awakening, Genesis Wave etc.).
I like Vorniclex for sleeping opponents lands.
I agree, the casual aspect of this deck is more fun and creative than the infinite UUU turns that are generally myopic and boring in nature. I play loads of X burn spells like Banefire, Fall of the Titans , and Red Sun's Zenith and forking them with Pyromancer's Goggles and Reiterate. Effectively being able to deal 54ish damage for three R.
The major suggestion I would make is to limit the non-instant/sorceries wherever possible (If there are any effects that can be on non-permanents).
Also play spells like Blue Sun's Zenith and Stroke of Genius just for nice draw synergy. You seem to be using the general as it was intended by using big spells, keep doing that. A good way to do that is by using X spells, because they will always add an experience counter to you.
However, your Displacer/Kruphix pairing is unreal and probably definitely changing my opinion on how to rebuild Roon.
Good call on Freyalise, I've picked up three other copies to make a playset, I always overlook the -6 ability.
